6 napkin burger 8/8/2002

You know you are enjoying the best burger on the planet earth when the juices from your ""cheeseburger-all-the-way-with-grilled-onion-cooked-medium"" run through your fingers. You won't want to put it down! You will want to order another!! more

BK for El Cap 8/8/2002

Love to just pop in, it's casual and the burgers are so juicy and good. Done just the way I like 'em and the beer is always cold! Usually, there's no wait. more

Cold buns & $$$$$$$$$ 8/8/2002

IF YOU LIKE THIS PLACE, YOU MUST NOT GET OUT MUCH! My husband and I happened to stop here on our way to St. Pete in May 2002. Slapped that tiny piece of meat on a bun they pulled right from the bag. A customer at the counter also said he would never be back. We were shocked to see that it was voted best burger in town. Cons: Overpriced, Dirty more

Love it 7/31/2002

For someone who doesn't like burgers, I occasionally get a crazy craving for one, and this is definitely the place to go. They are the best sloppy burgers around. more

Hidden Treasure 7/25/2002

I live in St. Louis, MO, but have family in St. Pete. They've been taking me to El Cap for years and the burgers just can't be beat. It's a must stop when I'm in town and I love the fact that it's frequented by locals (most tourists wouldn't know how to find it). El Cap's gets my vote for the best burgers anywhere! more

The Cap Fell Off 7/24/2002

I felt the burger was overpriced, did not come with any extras (not even fries) and the bun was not as fresh as I would have liked. more
