I eat healthy. You know the diet: low fat, low calories, low sodium and usually low taste. Campesinos kitchen consistently produces good food. l order the Texas fajitas; a huge plate of lean steak, chicken, shrimp, onions and tomato (I pass on the green bell pepper). I prefer the flavorful and healthier corn tortillas instead of the wheat and substitute rice for refried beans. Accompanied with their spicy hot salsa and I have a wonderfully tasty and healthy meal that is more than enough for two. For a healthy, low cost lunch, try their delicious soft chicken taco. They pack it with lots of white meat only chicken. I order mine with a double corn tortilla, lettuce, tomato and jalapenos. It always holds me over until dinner. Given the quality of the food and the very reasonable prices, this is a gem of a restaurant.
