Small restaurant, cheap food, true Mexican food. I go there at least once a month with my Mexican friends. They always said this reminds them of growing-up food, only better. This is my favorite Mexican restaurant, the waitress's are very friendly, helpful and prompt! I enjoy the family atmosphere, the art work on the walls, the food is absolutely delicious, and the prices are very affordable!!!. I look forward to my next visit. Okay, our waitress was beautiful. But ""soggy"" doesn't begin to describe the chili rellenos I encountered. It was literally dripping oil - you could taste it; you could drink it if you preferred. My guess: the deep fryer wasn't nearly hot enough. Adding insult to injury, neither the beans nor rice were hot, merely luke warm. And we were mislead about the drinks - we called ahead, asking if they served margaritas, and were told ""sí"", but it turns out they have no ""hard liquor license"", so these margaritas are made with some malt beverage mix. ¡Qué lastima! ¡muy malo! Same with the piña colada - it was a syrupy concoction that we left untouched. My meal was over 50% inedible. When I pressed down with my fork, to show the waitress my oily dish, she appeared appalled as well, and offered to replace it. So, great waitress, lousy food. I absolutely love going here, the food is delicious my kids even agree. My husband loves all the beautiful ladies that work there. except for the combination plates which include tostadas they are always soggy. Servers are polite and respectful. I have taken friends to this location and would like to go again. We even ride on our Harleys and eat outside. The feeling you get is great of course. The problem with most restraunts is that they want to be the best but they dont wan to provide the best service. Our experience was one of annoyances, though the staff was certainly well-meaning: fajita sat in front of us swimming in oil while we waited interminably for tortillas, the band, which would have been nice at a distance, played right in our ears, and tables were so small I kept dropping forks and napkins off the side. Salsa was tasty and everything besides the fajita tasted authentic. If it is authentic (as the waitress insisted), then I do not like bits of meat swimming in oil (I guess).
