This place is a joke as far as boarding is concerned. They charge by the ""day"" for boarding. SO example, we brought our dog in @ 5:30pm Dec. 22. Picked him up by 3:30pm Dec. 23. So we were charged 2 DAYS even though he was not there for more than 24 hours! Cost was $23.00 per day. SO $46.00 plus tax for him to stay 22 hours !!?? What a joke. There boarding was gross. The kennel was no more than 4ft wide. Urine was everywhere. We will never bring our animals here for boarding again unless there are some changes made! more

We have been with NAMC since our boxer Sadie was adopted. She gets the greatest care in the city from all the staff. We use their recommended food & have all our issues taken care of in house. THANKS NAMC more

The best pet clinic I have ever found! 7/9/2012

I love this pet clinic! They are the total one-stop pet center. I take my dog here for her veterinary services, grooming, training, boarding and doggie day care. The staff is super caring and accommodating, they know my dog by name when she comes in. I was hesitant to go here at first as I heard they were more expensive, but I've found that to be the opposite, many services are cheaper or at least similar to other vets I've had in the past.\r \r They offer emergency service 24/7/365, I've only had to call in for an emergency once, but they were really responsive and made sure that my pet was well taken care of through the whole ordeal.\r \r If you need a new vet, I am big fans of both Dr. Frey and Dr. Pretzer, but the whole staff there really cares about pets.\r \r They take a wide variety of payments and work with pet insurance companies. more

Great Groomers for scared little dogs! 9/18/2006

After being told that we would need to sedate our dog, who was abused before adopting him, for grooming by other groomers, we took our dog here. When we dropped him off, they asked if it would be okay to try without sedation--and we said of course! They take their time and do a good job with our scared little dog. PROS: Have Saturday hours, work with difficult animals CONS: sometimes hard to get an appt since they are so popular! more

Best small animal vet I've found so far. 11/4/2005

Nebraska Animal Medical Clinic is a very good veterinary clinic in southeast Lincoln. I care for guinea pigs, and when I found a vet in town who not only was familiar with the animals but had some herself, I knew I was in the right place. The staff is always friendly, and the doctors very knowledgeable. The food and other supplies they carry is of the highest quality, and extended hours and emergency hotlines mean your furry friends are never without help. Highly recommended. PROS: Compassionate, capable staff. CONS: Traffic layout makes getting there a bit difficult sometimes. more
