Egg Roll House

Just moving to the area, we really wanted to try something in North Liberty and not have to go into Coralville all the time (as if Coralville's far away LOL). But this way we can get on bikes and check out the local fare. Hungry for Chinese, we checked Bing and got this place as the closest to our home. The first review couldn't be more right - the food was very good for a typical take-out that also serves in. Not much on decor (a few prints and a local mix station), but the food was out within five minutes - all fresh, very hot (temperature), and EXCELLENT. Now if you're looking for sit-down style Chinese cuisine, this ain't it. But if you want some of the best take-out Chinese (a few large steps above that as well), this is your place! more

I ate at the Egg Roll House in Iowa City for the first time the other day and thought it was pretty good. It's a carry out/delivery type of place but the service was very friendly and the food was good. I ordered the szechuan beef which I thought was yummy and it was cheap too. If you're in the mood for some Chinese, I would recommend giving this place a try, it's good! more

I recently ate here the other day and was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is tiny and there aren't too many places to sit but I ordered my food to go. Off the bat the service was friendly. I ordered the Kung Pao Chicken and was very pleased with it. I didn't have to wait very long, it was cheap and the food was good. I will definitely stop here again. more
