I highly recommend Educational Enrichment's services from the professionalism of the staff, the quality of the tutoring to the owner, Jane Sullivan. I have been using them for the last five years and their prices remain very fair. The tutor comes to your home during a time convenient for you, even if this means a Sunday evening. Both of my children have been tutored by Educational Enrichment's tutors and have considerably increased their grades from the help they received. I would definitely call them if you are in need of a quality tutor. more

I have been arranging tutors off and on as needed for 10 years. Last year our school resource teacher recommended Educational Enrichment for a tutor for AP Biology. The owner, Jane Sullivan, had a wonderful tutor in mind immediately. He was an exceptional young man, who was a great teacher. He communicated with my daughter before every session so he was always prepared to help her with the current material. He was always a few minutes early, very professional and brilliant in his teaching methods. We could not have been more pleased and our daughter looked forward to her tutoring sessions and the confidence and understanding of the material was great. This year we have what is shaping up to be a similar great experience. My daughter needed a tutor for physics and Jane immediately thought of a young man who is a math/physics major. Again, he is brilliant, professional, prompt, communicates beforehand with my daughter and is keeping her up with some demanding material. I highly recommend Educational Enrichment and feel lucky that we found them. more

My kids have been tutored by the folks at Educational Enrichment for 4 of the last 6 years -- high school, college, and now preparation for graduate school. We used 4 different tutors since we needed expertise in varying areas (chemistry, calculus, writing, GRE/personal statement). All of the tutors have been wonderful in their knowledge of the subject matter and with their ability to connect with the kids. I am not sure how we would have survived without them! I found both Jane and her assistant to be very helpful and cooperative. Each time I contacted Jane about a tutor, she had one to recommend and was eager to get started as soon as we wanted. Jane seems to have many excellent tutors in a large variety of disciplines. She is always trying to make sure her tutors are meeting our expectations, and they always have. My daughter was experiencing difficulty with high school Geometry mid-term. One call to Jane resulted in my daughter getting back on track and helped her earn a respectable end-of-term grade. Jane assigned a tutor who worked with my daughter to assess knowledge gaps. Once those gaps were understood they focused on shoring up her understanding of those concepts and then moved forward with new topics. My child received tutoring services for math preparation for the SAT from Educational Enrichment. The tutor was excellent---totally invested in ensuring the success of my child. I cannot say enough good things about the tutor and the quality of the help that she received.The service is well-managed and Jane Sullivan is great to work with. We have used Educational Enrichment Tutoring Service for about two years now and have always been extremely pleased with our tutor and with Jane Sullivan or anyone in the office. Our tutor is very really personable and she really cares about our child's success. The service is well run and anytime we have had a conflict, the tutor has been very flexible to work it out. I have been using EE for @ 3-4 years now on and off. I can't say enough good things about this company or the owner. I have been treated with extra concern and care for my daughter and her situation. She has been struggling with math since 1st grade. The tutors at EE have helped her bring up her grade and maintain it when other professional, highly recommended tutoring establishments failed. The tutors are very personable and really care about your child. That was very important to me. They conduct themselves like it is not just a job to them, but that they truely care. That is very hard to come by with employees. I am a fellow business owner and I know the importance of good staffing.\r Jane appears to have a great relationship with the tutors. I have had very positive feedback from all of the tutors she has placed in my home. They praise her and say that she is great to work for. That means alot coming from your staff. I at times have been sick and had to cancel tutoring. They are totally understandable and willing to work with me anyway they can. How much more convenient can that get? We have enjoyed using the services of Educational Enrichment for several years, and we have had consistently excellent tutors who have helped our children immensely. Every tutor has been bright, respectful, reliable, and professional but friendly. The service is very well run and working with the owner, Jane, has always been extremely easy and pleasant. The service is quick to ask for feedback and is great about coping with a child's changing or challenging schedule. I was provided the information about Educational Enrichment from my daughter's school. My daughter, an honor student with a solid A average, struggled midway into chemistry. She thought she would be able to bring the grade up but soon found herself nearing the end of the semester (only a few exams remaining) with a D on the two most recent exams. Her grade average was plummeting! I contacted Educational Enrichment, knowing nothing about this or any other tutoring service. I was extremely pleased with the response. Jane could hear my concern as a parent and she acted upon it immediately. She located the perfect tutor and arranged for her to start within days. Jane worked with me to meet our needs and the tutor continued to work with us as we coordinated our schedules. With the 1:1 attention, my daughter brought her grade up and received an A on each exam that followed her tutoring sessions. Her teacher was impressed with the turn around and she was pleased to see the grades that she was accustomed to receiving. I would definitely use this service again. more

As an ex-teacher, I was extremely cautious when choosing a math tutor for my high school son. Owner, Jane Sullivan and the Educational Enrichment team made me feel at ease immediately. Jane has a calm approach to what could be a stressful chore of choosing a tutor. She offered interviews with of 3 her tutors (we happened to love the first one we interviewed). After choosing our tutor, the Educational Enrichment team called on several occassions to make sure we were satisfied with our service. Were we ever!! Because our tutor kept her sessions challenging yet engaging , our son went from a 75% (a D), to a 92 % (almost an A) in 2 1/2 months!! The confidence he gained from this service was invaluable! I have been using the services provided by Educational Enrichment for almost 2 years and I have nothing but praise for the entire organization.\r \r The tutors have been excellent. I believe that is because of management's continual hands on approach that makes sure that the tutors and students ""match"" to ensure that the student gets the type of assistance they require. I have received regular phone calls from management to make sure that I am satisfied with the service delivered via the tutors. I also know that the management gets at least weekly updates from the tutors regarding the student's progress.\r \r The tutors have all been extremely flexible with regards to last minute changes in our tutoring schedules. Our tutors, especially the latest, have/has really committed themselves to my son's success. They have adapted to his current needs and worked with his agenda, rather than their own. Like a fellow reviewer noted, it is a nightmare to deal with Educational Enrichment's managment. Although the tutors are wonderful and very knowledgable, it may benefit you more to seek a tutor elsewhere. The owner's inflexible managing style does not benefit the students, and can complicate relationships between parents and students. I strongly suggest you not subject yourself to deal with Educational Enrichment, and seek quality tutors elsewhere!!! more

Our experience with Educational Enrichment was so positive that when we moved to another state at the beginning of the school year, I looked for a similar tutoring service. You see, our child had started to flourish in high school with the competent and reliable tutors from E.E. After much frustration and extensive searching, I was unable to find a service that provided everything I received from E.E. The tutoring services in our new location either didn't provide individual tutoring, they were too costly, did not provide in home tutoring, or were not able to match a tutor for my child's needs. Educational Enrichment provided all of this. In addition, I felt very comfortable turning to Jane Sullivan for academic advice and support, which she provided even following our move into another state. I really miss this tutoring service!\r more

This service is wonderful. My daughter has progressed nicely during her time with E.E. We use both a math and a writing tutor. They are always flexible and willing to work with our busy schedules. The tutor supplied by Educational Enrichment was excellent. \r \r Working with the management of Educational Enrichment was challenging. It is probably easier to advertise on your own at NCSU or other local University for a high quality graduate student tutor.
