Great Place for any vehicle 10/17/2014

I have been using Ed for well over 15 years now. It all started with a reasonably price timing belt replacement for an 'extra' accord that my family owned. He has found/fixed every problem with any vehicle that I've owned. Even the difficult to remedy problems after multiple trips to the dealership. This included Ford, Mercedes, Honda, Dodge, etc. The guy is worth every penny he charges! more

It's difficult today in the service industry to find a shop where dedication to customer service and pride in craftsmanship are the dominant theme. The girls and guys here though are getting it right. As a non-franchised, non-commissioned shop employees here are not financially motivated to sell any repair or service that isn't needed. Competitive pricing and accurate diagnosis are key factors in reducing the cost of automotive maintenance and repairs. I like knowing that when I drop off my car that I'll be called with a no obligation estimate that is guaranteed to fix the problem. A guarantee that also includes any part and labor. The bottom line is that I'm very pleased and intend to continue to use these folks for my automotive needs. OK, so they don't run many specials. That's fine with me because I really don't want to play that bait and switch game and I'm comfortable with the fact that regardless of the repairs I know I'll be treated fairly. Thank you more

I was pleased with your quick service. I have a problem with the routine and annual service schedule. I drive about four thousand miles of mostly city and freeway miles with an occasional long trip. I will not have thirty thousand miles until late this year. I know my car needs scheduled maintainence and want to keep my car for a long time. Can you suggest when I should schedule work? more

I have a 1999 Ford Explorer (our "beater" car--my wife gets to drive the new one). It is going through its winter years, and I have spent a good deal of money, most of it at Gene's Auto, over the past few months to keep it running. My experience with them is that they give honest and accurate diagnoses, then they fix what needs to be fixed, and then your car works the way it's supposed to work. I have complete confidence in their workmanship and timeliness. Last, and surely not least, I want to lift up the excellent customer service work of Sherry, who sets the appointments, runs the estimates, stays on top of everything that goes on, and keeps the customer informed the whole way. more

I took my 67 GTO in and explained that I needed someone to look at my electric fan that ran for 15 minutes after turning the car off, and that I needed the car the next day for a car show. He was able to fix the problem and get my car back to me in plenty of time for the show. They were very curteuos the whole time and even gave me a ride home. I know that I will be going back to them for any more work I need done. more

That was the BEST customer service I have ever had. The transmission repair specialists were very helpful and the truck runs better then it ever did before. My husband says "It shifts like a Million bucks"; he is very thrilled. We were very pleased with the honesty. They fixed the transmission for $86.00 while another national company stated it needed a $1,250 rebuild. We are glad there are still honest people in the world. They were excellent. Thank you. more

You guys are the best! Our 2002 Explorer is running absolutely flawless after the transmission flush, filter and fluid replacement you performed for us Tuesday. The way the transmission was behaving before we brought it to you...I really thought this was going to be an expensive venture. $188 later, the truck drives like new once again! I wanted to tell you about my recent experience at Ed's Honda & Acura Service. I was having trouble with my Ford Explorer and someone driving with me thought it might be my transmission. I went the Ed's Honda & Acura Service shop in Hudson the where I left my car there for the whole day. The manager, called me later that day to tell me they went through my whole transmission, test drove it two times, and could find nothing wrong with it. They then performed another test on my tires and told me that is where the problem was. Something in my transfer case was kicking on and off because of that tire problem. They could have told me anything and I would have believed them. It would have been easy for them to adjust my tires and told me that it was a transmission problem. But they chose to take the high road and do the right thing. When I do have a transmission problem, or anyone I know has one, Guess where I will go,Ed's Honda & Acura Service. I thought you would like to know. more
