Our son started crossing in with his left eye at about 18mo. After immediate referral to Edina Eye, we saw Dr. Hassan and he prescribed glasses for ""over focus"" correction. Now, over two years and two prescription changes later, after no other treatments were ever introduced, nor vision or correction concerns brought to our attention, we've been told that we're looking at surgery! Um, excuse me? Surgery? What about options? Why hadn't YOU, the professional, given us what we'd been paying for all this time? How in the hell, heaven and earth had my sons extremely poor vision, aside from the crossing, been overlooked during all our visits to Edina Eye?
I've sought out a second opinion only to find that our sons left eye vision has gotten incredibly bad. Right eye 20/25 and left eye, get this, 20/300! We've spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars on frames, lenses, appointments, re-checks, etc, only to find a new PO and immediate need for a patch just to get the left eye working again! (I would highly recommend Associated Eye Care, where we've gone for our second opinion and will now continue to take our son.)
Beyond frustrated and angry cannot begin to describe my feelings... the only reason they get one star - I had to give a rating to publish this review. I'd give ZERO STARS if I could.
