Edgewood Apartments

\r I can't stress enough how horrible this place is. The washer and dryer can be out of order the whole weekend and break once a while. The management is too bad. When there is a problem, I have to report it over and over again. Then they will send someone to look at it. I reported a leaking ceiling in the bathroom half a year ago, I waited almost a week for them to come to fix. And a couple weeks ago, The ceiling started to leak again, and I reported to the manager almost everyday, but they've never come to fix it. I don't understand how can they treat the resident like this when they take my money every month for rent. I would not recommend living here at all. I'm moving out when my lease is up. more

First of all, I'd like to commend the maintinance staff for their superb work and the prompt response to calls reporting problems. The apartments are very well run, residents are really nice and friendly. My apartment was in excellent shape when I moved in and periodically I recieve upgrades to my kitchen fixtures for free. I have lived here 4 years so far and I must say, Edgewood is the nicest complex I have ever lived in. The location is great. It is just down the road from several big shopping malls including Montgomery Mall. 202 is also It is also very close to downtown Ambler, and also about 15 minutes from Philadelphia. I would reccommend Edgewood to any apartment seeker looking for a good location, fair rent cost, and well-kept buildings, and a great maintinance staff. I am completely surprised at how much I love living at Edgewood Apartments. I never thought I would like living in an ""apartment complex"" and always rented a private residence from a private owner, not a large management company in the past. I previously lived at two other places in Ambler, and neither of them can compare with the experience I have had here at Edgewood. The apartments here are larger than my prior 2 residences and larger than any other apartments I have been to in Ambler. There is a full time maintenance staff that keeps the property in great condition and responds quickly to any requests without charging for any repairs. Management is located on site and the office maintains regular business hours. The location is great and convenient to downtown Ambler, the train, Temple campus, 309, the YMCA, and shopping north or south on Bethlehem Pike. But the best part about Edgewood Apartments, besides the excellent management, is the feeling of being part of a larger family community. The other residents are friendly, professional, courteous, and considerate of one another as well as the property. This makes all the difference when doing laundry, parking, taking out the garbage, and walking though the lot at night or anytime. Pros: Pool Cons: No workout gym or tanning more

Edgewood Apartments has been nothing but a pleasure to live in. The atmosphere is great, the people are nice, and I have had no problems with any matenance. If anything is wrong from the water pressure, to appliances, to payment plans they are taken care of immediately. The land lord is friendly and helpful. The place is always clean. I have lived here for over two years and have had no desire to move considering the area it is affordable. I love having a pool here as well even though it isn't open all year I enjoy it very much during the months that it is. I am overall pleased and would recomend this place for any future prospects. Pros: The matnenance staff is vrey efficient Cons: Parking is the only issue I can think of but it's not that bad more

I definitely would not recommend living at Edgewood Apartments unless you want to deal with noise and parties all the time. Unfortunately, we are living in the same building as the Property Manager (Lane Miller). We have to deal with noise below us all the time, observe underage drinking and illegal substance use going on at his place. I don't know how someone like this got hired to be in his position. He hits on all the tenants and seems like a big pervert. I just hope someone see this and wakes up! Get a new Property Manager fast!! Pros: nice location Cons: terrible property manager more
