Edgefield Animal Clinic

When I moved to north Oak Cliff I had trouble finding a new vet for my four dogs. Dr. Konnermann is super. He has worked with me on everything from a stray pitt mix adopting me to the last stages of my dogs' lives and everything in between. When my border collie mix had to have his pancreas removed and I was dealing with oncologists, surgeons, etc., Dr. Konnermann (Dr. Larry) consulted w/the other doctors and called me personally to walk me through the process. Can't recommend Edgefield Animal Clinic more highly. more

I have been going to this doctore for fourteen years. He is great. If you are tired of vets that are only worried about the money and giving you a quick fix then he is the doctor for you.\r \r When my dog ran away and we found her and took her to get a check up immediately after we found her he genuinely cared about the dog being ok and was thrilled we found her after being gone for so long. \r \r Now I have a westie with skin problems and I've taken her to different doctors to see if they could help her and he is the only one that cares. Other just want to give her a quick fix like steroids. He has even told us he was against giving dogs steroid becuase of the repercussions. Unlike the other doctors that didn't even worn me of what they can do. Pros: He cares about the animals. He is very informative. Very funny. Very close to home for me. Cons: Kind of pricy, but always asks if it is too much before actually doing it. more
