Joel Norman, DPT, CSCS, owner of Edge Physical Therapy & Fitness, is a New York State Licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy. He has an extensive manual therapy background and is experienced in treating various sports, orthopedic and neurological conditions. Joel is also an adjunct professor at NYIT's physical therapy program and teaches courses in manual therapy and kinesiology. He is the only board-certified orthopedic physical therapist serving the Glen Cove, Little Neck and Douglaston townships. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and a Certified Golf Performance and Fitness Specialist. In addition, he is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and regularly attends continuing education courses at local hospitals to stay current with advancements in the medical/physical therapy field.
