Edge Hair Salon has become a favorite hair salon of mine, not just in Palo Alto, but of all the places I've lived in. If you're looking for a fresh cut and want stylists who bring their own ideas, give Edge a try. Plus, it's across the street from Coupe Cafe, where you can get the best tiger spice chai latte. Edge Hair Salon is a unique hair salon in the middle of downtown Palo Alto that provides you with a clean, friendly, trendy atmosphere. The stylists are all very professional and skilled and listen to what you want before cutting away... Pros: Nice, professional environment Cons: A bit $$$ more

My hair is hard as typical of Asian one. Shoji has an amazing skill to cut my hair. He talked me shortly and understood what I wan to to do right away. Then he cuts as natural as can, then it is so smooth like water fall. Finally I found a good stylist even pircey. I will come back him agin. more

My Stylist, Shoji told that many stylists skill up. Natasha made color for me. It is great since my black and grey color mixed very well. There are many good senior stylists in Edge. I strongly recommend this place. more

Edge is exciting place for many stylists pick. They have master, senior, advanced, jr. Depending on level, the price is different much. I picked advanced due to price. Holly is excellent and her sense is high class. I will go to her next time! more

New Edge is so nice place to say a long. I never think to stay in Salon long time but this Salon is comfatable such as magazines, internet, coffee, canday etc. Of course, I like my hiar cut. Julie made me pretty! Highly recommand this. more

Jennifer is great. My hair is so damaged but she takes care. Her hair cut is very professional and fix my hair. The products, she gave me, are so nice to make my hair changes good after one month. Turst me to go Edge. more

Holly is excellent 7/6/2008

Holyis great. Cut friendly women. She made me feel welcomed the moment i stepped into the salon. Someone told me to go there, and I will always go back. She was so friendly and very knowledge able. The products that I was using did nothing for my hair except dry it out. Its been 5 months now, and my hair has completely changed for the better. Thanks Holly....you were simply amazing more

Julie is good. It was my first time to the 'Edge' and experience was overall nice. Julie listens to what you want - and able to give good suggestion. I think I will go back for her. The price is resonable. more

Wiyanna's my stylist. She took an hour to cut & style my hair for our Grand Opening Event. I felt like a million dollars. She listens to what you want as far as maintenance and realistically what you can handle on a daily basis. Huge emphasis on communication. Very important when someone's wielding sharp objects near my head more

Baynina recommended me to come this Salon and I asked Shoji even an expensive stylist. He is a top stylist in this Salon and skill is amazing. He asked me very find how I like and what hair likely. Salon is very nice and comfatable. Magazine, Computer and Music are all great! Baynina and I decided to write comments here! more

Sang is best for men's cut 6/3/2008

Sang gives me the best cuts. she knows her stuff, makes sure you are satisfied, is totally reliable and consistent, and she is great fun to talk to. i dont think she even uses the schears, all with the razor. and no not the buzz one. so pro-style. She is great for men's cut! more

Steve is my new stylist at Edge. He gave me literally the best haircut of my life, and not only that, he showed me *how* to maintain it between cuts so that it always looks beautiful. He is very educational and hands-on, opinionated and encouraging. Give her a try! more

Wiyanna is very nice! I had been seeing my stylist for years when he moved to NY and I was totally out to do someone new. I feel like she was very thorough in finding out what I liked and didn't like about my hair. Then gave me the perfect little hightlights and the best face-framing cut ever! more
