Edenwood Apartments

This is so not true. I know because I am a resident here, and lived by this person writing the below untruthful blog. I am only respsonding because I live here and dont want my friends and family to think that the place where I reside is anything like this. The managers in the office try and work with everyone. I have referred 3 people here and we have had no problems, and yes, different color people. The problems are the outsiders coming in. The lady above failed to mention that she never paid a dime to the apartment office, i heard the managers at her door telling her that she needed to pay her rent, she did not have a funeral, she had people iin her apartment all times of the night. The office people have to do their job. When she left their apartment she tore the apartment up, broke globes, trashed the place something awful, and I am the one who called the office staff and informed them of what had happened. The office staff here are nice, the security are nice to. The maintenance are alwasy working. I lthink the managers, maintenace, and secutiry are doing a great job. and this comes from a resident . more

I moved into these apartments before christmas after 3 weeks of waiting for my application to be processed. The hateful manager called me everyday to come by the apts and re-do something not right on my app. I knew her game, it was to get me to give up on trying to get an apartment there. I was put through hell to get approved. The manager doing my application was digging for information on me and thats why it took so long to get in. The application states for you to list previous addresses and landlords for the last three years, she made me list for the last ten years. I have no criminal record and most of the people that live out there do or they are selling dope. I had eight people in the month I lived there come to my door at 3:00 am asking me if I knew where to get dope. The manager is racist and I was told that by security as well and that explained alot. I was living there only 2 weeks when my husband who was a dialysis patient passed away. I was evicted for not paying my rent because my rent was due on the 3rd of the month and my husband died on the 4th. i tried to explain to the management what had happened and they didnt care. The management entered my home at 8:45 one evening as i was planning my husbands funeral with a family member and told me to pay rent and dont worry about the things I havent unpacked yet because I wont be living here long enough.I was going to get my rent to them as soon as i could but unfortnantey I had to pay the funeral home to cremate my husband and my two children and I were the only family he had. I lived at edenwood a total of one month, and me and my children were booted out at a very difficult time in our lives. We had to find a new home of course and because they wouldnt wait five extra days for me to pay rent they evicted me very suddenly, because i had to find a new home it set us back and I was not able to bury my husband for two months. To anyone who wants to live there at edenwood I would think twice. First of all make sure you are not white, and second of all make sure your husband doesnt die. The office staff are terrible beings, i dont even want to call them people because Im not sure they are. Please take my advice they are heartless. Dont live there!!! more

The office staff are hateful! I got approved for an apt but when they told me how much the deposit and rent was gonna be I told them I couldn't affor that kind of money (almost $800) it is supposed to be low rent. They got upset with me and said we rushed around to get this apartment ready for you and you can't come up with the deposit and rent that is not our fault! They should respect their potential renters better! more

great improvement with these apts. the two managers in the office are really polite and know how to do thier job. i have heard some negative things about the complex, but mainly coming from the ones who start the problems in the first place. i would recommend these apts to the ones who need a place to stay. the ones that want to come in and create trouble need to stay out.\r \r big rob Pros: no washer, dryer hookups Cons: swimming pool, appearance more
