Eden Preschool

My 2 year old son has been going here since he was about 5 months old, and I will be enrolling my new baby soon too. There is a great balance of playtime and ""school time"" even for the youngest kids. My son can sing his ABCs, count to 25, and recognize most letters, shapes, numbers, colors. He also knows his ""good manners"" and how to get along with his peers. This is a great environment for him, and they are even working on potty training with him too. His teacher genuinely cares about him and all of her kids, and he loves her too. :-) One concern is they have changed the infant program from 3 months-18 months to 3 months-2 years. I would like to see it changed back so the older ones get more structured time in a smaller group with kids in a similar developmental stage. more

I am surprised there hasn't been a dead kid. Current owners has issues. more

How frustrating it must be to work so hard to create a safe and nurturing environment for so many grateful preschool families only to be evaluated for what the school was like 4 years ago with the previous owner! I've had one if not both my kids at the school since 2008. While we were happy there, the previous owner did leave plenty of room for improvement. Since then the new owners took over, changed the name, remodeled inside, re-organized the curriculum but left in place all the things that make it so special: the fantastic teachers, family atmosphere, and holiday programs all make Eden a special part of my kids' early childhood. more

My older daughter attended this school when she was younger. At the time it was a different owner. This place was fabulous at that time. Now it is a different story. From experience, this school is very dirty. There is a junky, broken piano in the parking lot. The teachers are nice, but not qualified. They are dressed in sweats and a t-shirt. The children do not have educational experiences. My child goes to school and play. My child did not learn anything besides coloring. I teach her more at home. The children are always watching television. This is just not a school for parents who want their child to succeed in life. It would be for parents who need a cheap babysitter. Pros: there is one teacher whom is wonderful, she has been teaching for a long time there Cons: everything more
