I bought a new home built by Eddy Belew in March 2005. During the home inspection, the inspector found standing water in the crawl space and fungus on the joists. Eddy had someone bleach the joists and said the positive discharge tube was crushed out in the yard. He stated that it had been repaired, although there was never any evidence of the tubing being dug up and replaced/repaired. It has always been wet under the house and as I get ready to sell the house this august for a military move to New York, I asked Eddy to come look at the crawl space again. he sent a crew out, who confirmed that the positive discharge tube was clogged or crushed and would not pass water through it. They left stating they would ask Eddy what he wanted to do. 5 days and numerous calls later, I was informed by the secretary that Eddy would not repair it. She said I was outside the one year warranty and it wasn't his problem any longer. Then she hung up on me. I called back and asked to talk to Eddy, but she said he was unavailable, the decision was already made and I was welcome to seek legal guidance, then she hung up on me again.
Pros: None that I can tell
Cons: Rude, disrespectful, unprofessional, doesn't follow through
