Eddies of Roland Park Supermarket

Eddie's is conveniently located on North Charles Street in the heart of Roland Park. I would classify it as an upscale grocery store with a deli to-die for. Prices are higher than what you'd find at Safeway or Superfresh, but it's also a more pleasant atmosphere. You can also find a smaller version of this store on St. Paul Street in Charles Village. I don't think I could make this my primary grocery store, but it won't break the bank for occasional trips. more

In the course of my job, we've used Eddie's lots of times for catering events. On the pros side, the prices are not sky high and the food is of a good quality. Their billing and delivery processes seem to run very smoothly for the most part. In general, I think that this business is very reliable and you do not have to worry much about whether or not Eddie's is going to come through for you. The only down side is that while they will supple you with extras such as paper plates, you have to do all of the setting up yourself. This can sometimes be stressful if you have a hundred other responsibilities. But overall, if you are able to swing this, Eddie's is a pretty good option for catering local events. I can recommend them with confidence. more

I used to frequent this market when I lived closer. They cater events and you can just shop for specialty items. Its a gourmet market with a wonderful deli,I love the chicken and shrimp salads and the egg twist rolls they sell.Its smaller then most of the chain market,but its a really nice place to shop for gourmet or deli items,I'd stick to the regular supermarket for every day items. more
