old time ice cream store! 10/13/2005

I love eddie’s sweet shop! Or at least, I like the idea. The ice cream is really subpar—tastes like they scooped it straight out of a breyers tub. But the atmosphere really can’t be beat—from the countertops to all the kitschy memorabilia everywhere-- it really brings you back to a sweeter, older time! more

If You're Going to do a Hot Fudge Sundae, Do It Right 7/25/2005

Eddie's Sweet Shop is the way to do ice cream. At the counter on stools, or seated at one of the tables surrounded by overly-busy wallpaper and oodles of candy, it's an old time ice cream parlor at its best. No ordering non-fat frozen yogurt here, you have to get a sundae with full-on creamy ice cream, oozy hot fudge and real whipped cream - or at least an egg cream. It's the rules. more
