BE VERY CAREFUL! This is VERY misleading! Somehow, this place receives the calls for Days Inn and Economy Inn BUT IT IS NOT AFFILIATED WITH EITHER! We thought we were booking with Days Inn but it is Sherman Inn and while it looks okay from the street, it is NOT SAFE. It is run by middle Eastern foreigners. We arrived late and they insisted on payment for both nights in advance. Upon arrival, we discovered it was not at all what we were told or what we booked (beds, security, etc.) We spent one night in cold rooms , nothing worked. Door hardware was broken on between rooms so could not leave our things unattended. When we tried to explain to owner, he became irate. ( I'm thinking we were not the first to complain because he went off on us at the first mention of a problem) At first, he refused to refund money. When he finally issued a refund (Debit Card) he said it would take two weeks for him to process.
I have traveled many places in my life and stayed in hotels in many countries but this is the worst treatment I have ever had and only 70 miles from home!
A reader should always question the credibility of the writer and in this case I assume you would but I can tell you that after preparing this evaluation, I intend to file a notice with the Better Business Bureau of Sherman. I have also tried to notify Days Inn and Economy Inns to let them know how their reputations are at stake here.
