Econocuts

I called Econocuts last week and told them my previous lawn service had not shown up for 2 weeks and PRE-PAID them for a month of service. They did not show up on the scheduled day. When I called to find out why I was told because the lawn was overgrown. Really? Isn't that what you do - mow lawns? It wasn't that overgrown, but it will be by the time they come back out in another week so they want more money. What a scam! more

Econocuts is the best yardservice we've had. They are reliable, and affordable. The crew that worked our area last year was not the greatest, uneven cuts and leaves blown under our hedges. We called the company, and have had no problems since. I highly reccomend the service they provide. Pros: Reliable service, good value more

I hired them to do my lawn and after three weeks I told them that their service was no longer needed. They used a mower that mowed grass to several different levels, and tried to blame it on my unlevel yard. Their mower relocates the cut grass, pine needles into flower beds and everywhere else but the trash bags that it should be placed in! I am now, unfortunately, the resident that resides between two neighbors that use this lawn service. One is a vacant house and the other is a neighbor that could care less that they are dumping all of their trimmings into a neighbors yard. Econocuts is one of the least expensive lawn service in this area and their work is proof of that! If you have no respect for your neighbors then they should be the one that you should hire. If you want a good job done and respect your neighbors property, you should hire another company. I called Econocuts to complain, and was told that they would return the crew to clean up my yard. Of course, they have yet to return and remove and return all of the mess to the yard where it belongs. It belongs in the yard that paid them for this unacceptable job. We have been customers of Econocuts for years. The are in and out very quickly and their customer service has always been great. For the price we pay I am extremely satisfied. I would highly recommend them. It certainly beats me having to do the lawn myself! Pros: Reliable and easy to schedule more

My husband and I started using Econocuts about 2 months ago. We requested that they always come out during the week and not before 8:00 a.m. Well of course they would come out about 7:00 a.m. We complained. So, they started coming right at 8:00. Then they started showing up at 7:00 a.m. on Sunday mornings. We complained again stating that we did NOT want them out on weekends. So they came the next week on a Wednesday. The following week, they didn't show up at all, but we got charged for it!! The following weekend they came out on Sunday morning bright and early! We called and they were very rude and the behavior was totally unacceptable. In short - NEVER NEVER NEVER waste your money on them. They would cut our lawn in about 10 minutes, leaving large patches of grass uncut and didn't even bother blowing the grass off the driveway or porch. Our lawn was always left a mess and didn't even look as if anyone had been there. Pros: NONE! Cons: Didn't do their job; customer service awful; people were very unfriendly; poor value more
