Ok....as per my email into you guys over the weekend, my wife came home a little upset that she had to wait 5-1/2 hours for her rear brakes. She then noticed on the way home that there's a clicking sound in the rear brakes while braking and at certain speeds braking the steering wheel vibrates. She's bringing it back in Monday. more

Workers said work would be done by 2 pm. I was running late and called at 4pm. They did not look at fixing the problem with my car until I called. They costed me two days of which I could be doing something else. They have an issue with keeping a problem. Slow service and I believe I was cheated. I won't be going there again. more

This Honda was a mess of problems when I got it. Econo has repaired it and got it to pass Ca. Smog requirements. Now, the Ghost has be declared a gross polluter twice----but Econo has gotten her to pass her test for the 2nd time. This last time, she was well below CA requirements. Heck yes, I'm letting Econo work on my car. Plus, while car repairs can be expensive, they don't rape or overcharge. more

My Honda has over 300,000 miles on it. Believe me, if I had known this car had so MANY problems, I would never have bought it. So much for a friend telling me what a 'great car' it is. But, lucky for me, I have been going to Econo off & on for 30 years. It miserably failed the 1st time we had to smog. And, the carfax showed it as being a 'gross polluter'. Thing was taken to the junk yard. Some how, it was rescued & found it's way to me. The Econo mechanics have worked miricles. All the oil leaks, broken motor mounts, busted fan, have gotten fixed. And this year, the car passed the smog below requirements. Yep, the ghost is a monument to a business that knows it's job. You got a car problem? Take it to Econo. They'll do you right more

My wife, who has bought the $100 annual membership for oil changes and discounts on repairs is a little annoyed with the wait time to get her car back after the service is done. She says she had to wait today over 20 minutes AFTER the mechanic pulled the car out and parked it. more

I have gone to Econo Firestone for 3 years now. Anytime I have gone anywhere else (like when Econo is closed) I have lived to regret it. Recently the "Check Engine Light" light came on in my car. Two different things needed repaired mainly due to the age of my car. Within a week the light came on again. Even through it came on for a completely unrelated reason they handled the problem without charging me because I had been through so much (personally) with the first repairs. That is how Econo is . . . they are always there for you, the stand behind their work, their stand behind their word. They are honest - if you think something may be wrong (breaks making noise etc.) and you think you're going to have to replace them they will tell you if your breaks are still good. This is a situation where a less than honest repair shop would either change and charge you for breaks you didn't need or act like they changed your breaks and then simply charge you! This will never, never happen at Econo. And all the personal examples I have had, where they have told me I didn't need the work done that I was planning on goes far beyond just my breaks. And then there is the work they perform. If they perform a repair you can bet it will be done right and the problem will be resolved. They stand behind their work 100%. Econo is simply one of those home town mechanics that you can always take you car to and everything will be handled correctly. In this age of Big Box Stores, cheap oil change franchises, and large franchise auto shops it's nice to know you can still go somewhere for tires or a car repair and it is always like going home. more
