Econo Auto Painting

I must say that had I read these reviews never never would I have taken my car there let a lone a bicycle. There were two main areas on my 2004 Thunderbird that was a concern. I was talked into a better paint, gives a better finish by JEFF. went ahead with job, had to be CASH when car picked up would take about 5 days. Was called 3 days later car was ready. noticed a paint run, no problem bring it back next week will look after it. The car was covered outside & inside with shop dust. It wasn't until I got it home, used the magic brush to remove the dust. The finish was full of DUST GRIT & PIN HOLES. Paint on the door rubbers, & Trim. When I took it back Jeff sent me to Detail Depot, no problem they will get it all out. Doug at detail Depot a great guy just laughed and said NO WAY, maybe a few but the runs NO WAY. He called Jeff at Econo and was told tough that's all they are going to do. I have registered my complaint with the BBB and will be doing the same to the Newspaper they advertise in. I will also be instructing my lawyer to commence an action and maybe it will turn into a CLASS ACTION!!\r \r Ross Park more

Went there for body work and repaint . Worst paint job ever ! more

The first time I took my car in for the top of the line paint job, they did an excellent job, but they rushed putting the pin stripes on & crinkled the fresh paint all down the sides of the car. They kept my car for almost 3 WEEKS trying to ""fix"" the paint job, only making it worse. Now I have paint on my mirrors, windows, plastic moldings, license plate lights, they even painted over all of my key holes! They forgot to put the pinstriping on 1 door! The paint is on thick on my car that is won't dry properly & is sagging and there is an ""orange peel"" effect all over the car. I even have sanding marks up & down both sides of my back window. To restore my car to the way it was, it would cost me $1,000 to replace all the parts they painted over from rushing & not taping the parts properly. I would never recommend this businesss. more

Recently I have been to Econo Paint. The paint is bright and looks nice, but it is not what I asked for. I wanted metalic flecs in the paint. That is the one specific thing that I wanted. I made a point of saying so. I looked through the paint sample books and asked how the metalic flecs would look with several different colors. That was the main thing that I wanted. When I went to pick up my car, there were no metalic flecs in the paint at all. There were chips in the paint that they fixed. They said they would change the paint to what I wanted, but I had already rented a car for two days. If I had them repaint the car, I would have to rent a car for another day. When I called to see if the car was ready, I was told yes, it was ready. The Chevy decals were not on the car. I was asked to come back to have them glued on. They were friendly and cared what I wanted until I paid. You get what you get. You get what you pay for. They also painted over my black side mirror covers with the red car paint. Do yourself a favor and go to Maco. Oh, I had also asked for pin striping. That didn't happen either. Pros: Friendly when selling service Cons: You get what you get. They do what they want and you'd better like it. more
