I am quite pleased overall. I thought they might have done a slightly better job of protecting my annual & perennial flower beds (draping and such) than they did, and we have found nails that their magnet bar missed, but all my friends who have had a roof replaced said we would. So really no surprises. Also Eclipse roofing accepted my Angie's List coupon which I printed off the web site and saved me $300 (discounted) from the original bid. This $300 savings will pay for my continued Angie's List subscription for this year and several more. more

With all the post-hailstorm business, it did take a couple of follow-up calls to get estimate and job scheduling accomplished. Jeff 's presentation materials (bid, contract, etc.) are very professional. During the job I had to ask twice before my request that the crew not work after dark was heeded. Short November days and long lunch breaks made the job take four to five days. The work quality appears to be good, after a few aesthetic problems were promptly addressed. There was some damage to painted surfaces and landscape plants that could've been avoided with use of tarps or plywood. more

Jeff and his crew were pleasant to work with from start to finish. They were very prompt and experienced. Our roof (as well as our home for that matter) had definitely seen better days. Jeff thoroughly explained the choices we had and the terms of the contract and spent the time to answer all my questions and then my husband's questions about the roof and other matters (siding, chimney, etc.) The materials arrived over the weekend and the crew finished the project in one day. After the work was complete, Jeff took the time to stop by and talk with us about the roof and to answer any questions we had. What we were impressed with most was throughout the process, Jeff took the time to note any issues other than roofing he and his crew noticed. (Again the home has seen better days and is a work in progress.) The roof itself looks great and I couldn't have asked for a better experience from start to finish. Jeff Pendergraft was asked to do an estimate on a home I am purchasing. Because of Realtor contracts already in place I was unable to work with Jeff. Prior to my closing, Jeff offered his estimate, found a structural engineer within a days time and answered professional questions regarding the reroof. It worked out very well. They came highly recommended. I wanted the roof changed a little bit and so it involved some construction work. He knew a guy that could get that get that done and it was a separate contract. That person was also very good. The roofing guy was extremely helpful that he knew a carpenter who was able to the work done. They coordinated very well with each other. He kept me informed and his communication was excellent. Jeff Pendergraf came the day he was called and surveyed the job. Unfortunately, the job would involve rebuilding a major part of the roof. Jeff recommended a carpenter who came to determine the extent of the work needed. Because both were very busy, it took several weeks to get the estimate and arrange for the work to be done. Nate, the carpenter came when he said he would and did excellent work. When he was finished, the roofers came and finished the job. We are very pleased with the completed project. more

Our wood roof was totaled by hail so I looked for a good roofing contractor and found Jeff Eclipse. He was VERY professional and down to earth. He also responded very quickly to my phone calls. My wife and I were very pleased that he used quality GAF products and had many options to choose from but didn't try to sell them unless there was an advantage. In the end we only chose upgrade roof shingles because Jeff didn't feel that any of the other options were worth the cost. This is what I call an honest business man. There were a couple of minor issues that came up during the job. I mean really minor. I bring them up because when I mentioned them Jeff he immediately corrected them. The end result was a great quality roof. I have already given his name out to 5 others we know needing roof repairs. I cannot express to anyone how pleased my wife and I are with the workmanship and the honesty from Eclipse. Please speak to Jeff and judge for yourself. more

Job went very smoothly. Jeff was very professional, responsive and always took the time to describe in detail the status and the process of the job. His pricing was very fair and he beat all local competitors. I know that he stands behind his work and that peace of mind means alot to my wife and I. While I doubt I will need Jeff's services anytime soon, I know that if something does come up, he will be there. more

The work was done in conjection with Eclipse replacing my roof. Two days after the roofers finished, Jarrad arrived and completed the gutter project. As with the roofers, they were efficient, completed the work very promptly, and left a clean worksite. They hauled away all the old materials. Project Manager Steve Buren kept me informed every step of the way, from estimate to payment. As with the roofing part of the overall project, Steve is an outstanding communicator who answered my questions, and let me know what and when things would happen. He was on top of things, knew all the details, and was an exceptionally pleasant person to work with. I would not hesitate to hire Eclipse again. more

I called Eclipse several days before Christmas because they not only had a good rating but said they handled emergencies. Water was dripping from my light fixture and shorted the light out.Dave called me the next day and came out the following day to check the roof. He took pictures and showed my daughter and talked to me at work to recommend what needed to be done. He came to fix the leak the day after Christmas although I understood him to say that the company was not scheduling work during that week. I was impressed with their response, professionalism, and hope, of course, that the repair will work until I can get the roof replaced. I will definitely call the company in the spring to get a bid on a new roof. more

I called Eclipse to have them evaluate my roof based on last year's hail storms. Some of my neighbors ended up getting new roofs so I wanted to find out if I needed one. I also had a few noticeable issues with shingles and a gutter. Someone promptly came out and looked at my roof. He told me that I didn't need a new roof and that my issues were mostly cosmetic. I appreciated the honesty and the fact that I didn't feel like he was trying to sell me something. He had project manager Dave Hudson come out to do the repairs. Dave took the time to look over my entire roof. He took care of the issues I was aware of and a few others for a minimal fee. I felt like he was thorough, professional and honest. He was even very conscientious of the fact that I had a child napping in the house while he was here and somehow made the repairs quietly.I will definitely call Eclipse the next time I need roof work! more
