Generaly visit summer only, have recommended to numerous people........today I was given red sauce, all though I ordered marsala......went all the way to the chef... he states infatalcly it is marsala sauce.....anyone interested in eating the red sauce can find it on the front sidewalk of my home to sample.........would highly NOT RECOMMEND since the chef is all about him and not the customer................................. Pros: use to be so awesome Cons: the chef KNOWS marcela sauce is RED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! more

Easy to miss but Worth Going out of the Way For 3/30/2008

I had heard many great things about Ecco and was very anxious to go - everything I heard was so right on and it was worth the wait (but wish I hadn't waited). The menu was phenominal and offered so many appealing options I couldn't decide (The seafood chioppino was FAB-U-LOUS). The service was efficient and friendly, the wine list wonderful, the prices are very reasonable (and portions generous), the atmosphere lively but not too loud. I live close by but would not hesitate to go out of my way to come back. Pros: Fantastic menu, GREAT seafood options, friendly service Cons: Friday/Saturday nights (prime time) could be a wait; small bar area more

First Time In 2/25/2008

My name is Bob Denadio. I'm a very good friend of Dr. Herb who is a regular lunch customer of MaryAnn. At his suggestion, six of us unexpectedly showed up for dinner on Saturday night (2-23-2008) . We were actually on our way to Bella's but Herbie suggested that we went to Ecco instead. My first time in. The service was exceptional from the moment we were greeted by MaryAnn until the time we said goodnight. She was as personable as Herb said she would be. This is the best restaurant around. The service is one of the best on the south shore and the food is to die for.. Try it, you'll be happy you did...\r If you want great, delicious and friendly.. Go there~\r more
