Marcus "Ebony" Phillips and Victor "Ivory" Amato have a combined 22 years in the restaurant business. They have worked at many Atlanta restaurants including "The Old Vinings Inn", "Hi Life Kitchen & Cocktails" in Norcross, the "Social House", and "Dantanna's" at CNN Center. During their stint together at "Dantanna's", they discussed opening a real down home, southern cooking restaurant. After months of planning recipes, searching locations and hammering out ideas, they opened "Ebony & Ivory" in July, 2011.
