This company came through for us! At 3:30AM on Sunday March 31, 2014 we were headed to New York and were at mile marker 174 near Melbourne on I-95 north. We ran over a piece of metal which blew the front right tire. Our jack was missing a piece of the crank. We called AAA (waited 2 hours), we called the Florida Highway Patrol who passed us off to Palm Bay Police Department. A young officer aged 23 named Mike stayed with us for over an hour. Eau Gallie Towing showed up, immediately set uup their vehicvle in a safe position. Got out the jack equipment and changed the tire in 5 minutes. The repairman was neat, polite, quick, knowledgeable and even suggested that there was a Tire store at the next exit. How far could we drive on the donut spare tire? This is the worst towing company I have ever dealt with! They had my truck on the flatbed and then, 100 yards from where we originally broke down they pulled over and TOOK IT OFF! They said they got another call that was closer and that another towing company was coming to help us. We called that company to see how long we would be waiting and they had no idea who we were! So...not only were we ditched on the side of the road by these people...we were blatantly lied to as well! if you really need help DO NOT CALL THESE PEOPLE!! more

My parents were visiting from Europe and we left Mid-West for a dive-a-lot/see-a-lot -trip to Florida with our 9 and 2 year old daughters. on May 27th 2009 All went well from Tampa to Kennedy Space Center to Melbourne until our way to Miami our rental van broke down In Melbourne around 3pm. In a pouring rain we were wondering what to do! Time was money and we had money but not time! Rental companyt told us to get into a cab to drive back to Kennedy Center to pick up a new rental car as some us was to stay behind and wait for the towing company. Eau Gallie Towing truck came but no cab... in the pouring rain this nice young man stood calmly as my husband was trying to figure out what to do. He helped us out troumendeously!! He was waiting for the AAA/the rental company and US to get our things stright so that HE could do HIS job! What a nice young man!:D SO thank you Eau Gallie Towing and Recovery! Very professional and nice experience! We are sad to report that our 9 year old lost our digital camera in all this...all photos taken of her and her grandparents in the place she was born.. once in a lifetime trip from Europe to Florida for my parents... the pictures would mean a world for us!! She does believe she left it in the towed away van... so we are back in Mid-West and we still are very impressed of this one man that made a difference to our trip, by being a calm and patient advisor in our chaos:D Way to go Eau Gallie Towing & Recovery, we can highly recommend you!! :D Pros: An angel in a time of trouble Cons: NONE! more

Hello, I just couldn't help but respond to the ignorance of the guy writing the review about his car. To explain, his car was towed by Eau Gallie Towing in responce to FHP (Florida Highway Patrol) calling for a rotation wrecker. The price he was charger is set by the state of florida as standard and customary charges to protect the consumer from price gouging. There is only 8 companies in the Melbourne, Palmbay area that is on the FHP rotation list due to the high standards FHP requiers to be on thier list. The insurance and all else (to much to list) cost money! and that is what the prices help pay for set by the state. to conclude trying to use God to get a price break.. come on!! Oh I know lets all just work for free!!!.. Anyone can review prices set by the state and clearly see we as a company did Mr. Ralph Nader (as he claims but not his real name) no wrong and did not over charge him in any way. Have a great day and we look forward to serviceing the members of our comunity with honest and great reliable service for years to come already have served here for twenty years and look only one bad review.. pretty good if you ask me... I was in a head on collision on Wednesday the 16th of January approximately at 7:40 pm less than 1 mile from home. My car was towed to Eau Gallie Towing Company instead of my house without my approval. When I went to pick up my automobile Friday afternoon when I had time off I was told that my bill was $242.00, $110.00 for towing $65.00 for a certified letter that was mailed out, & $22.00 per day storage for a total of $242.00.
