Great Mechanic 9/29/2010

My experience using Eastside Auto Care has been great. They fixed a water pump, a timing belt, and some transmission problems on my Lexus. It is running really well now. They are very easy to work with, and Dave is a really great mechanic. He is probably the best I have used, and his prices are really good too. more

Excellent customer service with integrity and passion for automotive care. 9/9/2010

I am just happy to have finally found an honest, dependable mechanic who takes as much as an interest in my vehicle as I do. I have been going to Dave, at Eastside Auto Care, for 5 years. Dave has done engine work, electrical work, suspension, and regular maintenance for me. Everything turns out wonderfully. This guy is passionate about cars, which is something I can appreciate. He is not passionate about gouging the customer over prices. He is always straight up with me, which is rare to find. more

Relaxed, pain free, mechanic experience. 8/31/2010

Eastside Auto Care is good. The first time I met Dave he was giving away free oil changes to get more business. It was actually free, not like some places that are "free" but you have to pay for the filters or oil. I liked it because it wasn't just a sucker and sell, but it was an honest and true free oil change. From then on I have felt that he is a really trustworthy mechanic. I have used him for 3 or 4 months and have spent about $3000 with him. He has done my front and back brakes, and 90 thousand mile tune up, as well as other services. Dave is an actual honest mechanic. more

I have taken my wife's car to Eastside Auto Care and recommended my sister to go there. Dave is a good guy to work with. He is honest and gets the work done in a reasonable amount of time. I have been using them for about six months. They are honest and tell their customers what is going on. They are upfront about the repair costs. He is a good all around mechanic. more

Dave is awesome. He takes care of my old Subaru and me. The only reason its running like new with 240,000 miles on it is because of him. Highly recommended. more

I have known Dave for several years. I began using him when he was with another garage and I followed him to Eastside Auto Care when he broke out on his own. Dave always takes time to explain what he is doing, what the problems are, and how he goes about his job. I would say he is exceptional. He has done quite a bit of major for me over the years. I had him do a rebuild on a boat motor, he helped me with a restoration project and, more recently, I hired them to do some RV work. Dave communicates very well. You always know what he is doing and how he is doing it. He is a great person to work with. more

I met Dave when he got out of mechanical school, and I've stayed in touch with him since then. He is the only one who I will let work on my vehicles. I have had nothing but awesome experiences with him. I have some hot rods, and they had some problems I couldn't figure out. The only person I would let turn a wrench on them is Dave, and that is because he is so good. He knows his stuff. He is always striving to learn the latest technology. He just opened his new shop, Eastside Auto Care, and he has clientele that will follow him anywhere. I don't blame them, because I have heard tales of other shops. Dave bends over backwards to make sure that the vehicle is running and up to par. Dave will fix little things he notices without even charging. While other shops will think about it in terms of another $50, if it only takes a couple of minutes he will just fix it. That is why he has so many repeat customers. He is the best mechanic I know, and I recommend him to everybody. more

Dave is a competent mechanic, and I would recommend him. 6/17/2010

Dave, at Eastside Auto Care is a good mechanic. He has done a complete engine overhaul for me, and got a newer vehicle going as well. He took care of it in a timely fashion, and it is running great. If you have a problem, Eastside Auto Care will find it. Dave is very competent. He takes his time to evaluate the system before jumping in to do the repair. I've probably been going to Dave for 10 years, since before he opened his business. If you find a good person who does well for you, you go after them. I have already recommended him to others, and they had good experiences as well. more
