Dr. Jain was recommended to me by a friend, who had recommended Dr. Jain to her. A few of us were in the market for an OB/GYN, and I was elected to be the guinea pig. I was not disappointed. She and her staff are very friendly and make this annual appointment much easier to bear. Dr. Jain lets you know when/where she's about to do something, what you can expect (a slight pinch, coldness, etc.), answers any questions you have (there is no dumb question, except the one you didn't ask), and tells you when and how you can expect test results. I think she is only a few years older than me, so that makes discussing female issues a breeze. Even if you aren't close to her in age, it doesn't matter: she is very easy to talk to. Other physicians at Eastover have called in prescriptions for me if Dr. Jain was unavailable to do so. Unlike most women, I actually don't dread this appointment. Needless to say, I told my friends about my positive experience at Dr. Jain's office. Each of them are now patients, and they have successfully recommended other women to her. I do not have children, so my experience is limited to the ""GYN"" in OB/GYN. However, if I were to have kids I'd definitely stick with Dr. Jain. If I had to induce labor, I would purposely time it with her ""on-call"" shift if possible. If Dr. Jain were a PCP, I'd go to her for everything.
Pros: Make appts online; refill Rx online; staff is knowledgeable about insurance plans; good parking; three locations
Cons: Very popular -- cannot wait until the last minute to make your annual appointment
