I wish I could post 0 stars! When a gentle spirit tells you NOT to do something, you should listen to it. 48hours before the scheduled departure, our team was notified that they pushed our trip back 2hours. That meant we would be late to the opening event by the time we arrived to the hotel. I contacted ELG's customer service, and Tom Leicht responded and pretty much said, "You're screwed." Not to mention he was very rude in his repeated emails. No concessions made for the delay. We arrive. No real rhyme or reason for the room selections. Some have upgraded rooms with microwaves and refrigerators. Some did not. But we all paid the same amount. The Opening night event looked/felt like a high school dance in the cafeteria. Plastic tables and chairs and cheesy decorations. Not at all like an Old Hollywood theme. Cold food-wings and spaghetti. They wouldnt even provide salt n pepper shakers when it was requested. ELG coordinators, especially, "Belinda with the long weave" were rude arguing with guests. They were not accommodating when excursions were almost canceled because of transportation issues. The concert was a disaster. Our assigned ELG coordinator (Belinda G, check in coordinator) was absent since very early on Sat).No rhyme or reason to how buses were departing to/returning from the venue. We were forced to stand outside in the cold. Just really treated like second class citizens.. Our ELG guide for Sunday was clear about leaving the shopping outlets on time. Of course people were late and the ELG said she would not leave them. She lied and said she would contact the hotel for an extended checkout. So because of some late people, we are pushed to check out and eat in a short period of time. The hotel server threw my food on my plate when I asked for a particular cut of chicken. Just felt like my money was good there but after they got it, I was treated like trash..Never again. ELG wants the black dollar and couldnt care less about customer after they get your trip paid in full. AVOID ELG events at all cost.
