Located in West Memphis, Ark., the EastArk's Thrift Barn offers used clothing for men, women and children, and it also provides housewares, linens and furniture. It receives donations from various individuals, businesses, manufacturers and nonprofit organization. It is a part of the EastArk Enterprises, a nonprofit community rehabilitation program that provides assembly, packaging, gluing and labeling products. EastArk Enterprises accepts referrals from Arkansas Rehabilitation Services. The EastArk's Thrift Barn uses its income to support its prevocational services for adults with disabilities. Its programs for people with disabilities include work assessment, adjustment training, work activity, adult development and sheltered employment.
