My meal at Eastanah was intensely flavorful!\r
They do not mess around with the spices and they get it amazingly right.\r
I sampled 3 appetizers, taro shrimp, roti canai and the fish cake wrapped in banana leaf.\r
All three had such interesting textures and flavors, with the creaminess of the shrimps, the aromatic fish cakes and the tasty roti sauce, that I just wanted to savor each.\r
I shared a plate of the rendang beef and I was so pleasantly surprised when the dish was served. Most places serve rendang beef with a lot of the sauce and very little meat. This dish had plenty of meat and the sauce was thicker and spicier than most. My taste buds were dancing and I loved every bite!\r
The service was great as it is not a crowded place. The atmosphere was nice, too with traditional Malaysian and Indonesian decoration details and soft music. \r
The price is right too and I would definitely return with friends!\r
