The park is quiet and clean and well kept but the owner and one of his friends are racist and the owners other friend is a drunkard. I heard them make/laugh about racist comments more than once. In fact the owner is a drunkard. He drinks very frequently just enough to get slurred speech and impair his judgment. The owners wife is as nice as can be but her husband, is like a nazi when it comes to security. Has cameras EVERYwhere and records audio as well. Crazy!!! He will make it indirectly clear that you are not welcome to use the rec room as you wish. Keeps a note on the thermostat directing residents NOT to touch it. Keep in mind the residents are charged for this space! The space is filled with their personal possessions and items that are either not working, useless, or shoved into a corner to be useless and it's clear their family uses it as a living/dining room, all the while writing it off on their taxes as the business space. Laundry machines are priced very affordably and condition of things are very good but it comes at a price of feeling like ur living in a concentration camp of sorts. Coffee is available in the rec room but if you have more than one cup or stay too long inside owner will come in and sigh and 'let you know' he's not happy. For some reason he sleeps in his RV instead of his home. Almost seems like he wants to be able to see out of his large LR window at night and watch over things. The place is basically an empty field converted to an RV park and instead of building places to fit the need he converted existing buildings which requires residents to walk waaaay out of their way to reach the rec room/laundry on a gravel path or through a field. If you take the field he will complain about you tracking into the facilities. He dissuades residents from using the bathroom/shower even though those amenities are listed on the brochures and clearly a selling point. I could go on but you get the point. Who wants to live in a new, clean RV park when there exists a constant tension about what you may be doing to offend the owner when all the time you're paying HIM to live there.
