Best Subaru Mechanics Around!! 3/6/2012

I have known East Valley Auto Rebuild mechanic Brian Page since 1989 when he did his first repair for me on my old 77 Toyota Corola, and East Valley's owner, Mark Bryant for almost as long. Both are fabulous mechanics and businessmen who are fair and true to their words. Mark will give you an honest appraisal of what is wrong with your car, and Brian and his fellow workers will fix you up right. I am a Subaru driver and East Valley customer forever. I am grateful for their quality work which has kept me with a well-running car for longer than I can remember. They're keepers! Long Live East Valley Auto! more

I received honest repairs and fair pricing 8/24/2011

I have had several vehicles repaired at East Valley, including a 1997 Toyota Camry and our Subarus. I always get a straight explanation of what needs to be done and why, and a bill that is understandable and reasonable for the work done. I'v recommended East Valley to friends and family who have had similar experiences. I really appreciate being able to trust that I will get honest repairs and fair pricing to keep my cars on the road and safe. Thanks to Mark and his crew. more

Guru Fixed It Quick 8/19/2011

I'd been having trouble light coming on frequently--took my Subie to the Guru-He ran the codes asked me a couple questions. Told me to try a higher grade of gas for a couple weeks and come back. The light has not returned and I'm getting better gas mileage. more

I?ve brought my stock 1986 B.R.A.T. to East Valley Auto Rebuild since 2009. I?m confident that this is the best group of people in the Seattle area to work on my car. They know what they are talking about, are straightforward, provide good service, and do very good work at reasonable rates. Really. more

Mark Is My Hero 8/10/2011

I was referred to East Valley by co-workers. When I first met Mark, the owner His Biker looks set me back. Almost immediately his caring personality came through. He, personally went out to my car and looked and listened to the engine. He asked when I last had a tuneup--I said not since I bought the car. He said it was probably due from how the wires to the spark plugs and how dirty the filter was. When they were done, my baby had more pep than ever. Mark and his guys will be taking care of my baby from now on. more

The Curtain is Removed!! 8/6/2011

I have been frustrated when at other businesses would not let me talk to the actual person doing the work--Cars, Computers, vacuums etc. Mark, the owner not only told me what was wrong--but the mechanic who did the work, I think his name was Chris, talked to me. He told me what could have caused the problem, but what to do to avoid it in the future-- more

Finally a Shop I Can Trust 8/6/2011

With money short, I had put off fixing my 85 GL. Since Arron's Auto Wrecking is gone, there is no place for used parts. I found East Valley on the net--After talking to one of their Mechanics. I them do the work--They got the car running in short order, and unlike doing the work myself, The work was warranted--I will be back--I will tell my friends. more

Had a reoccurring problem with my 97 Subaru--Had it ""fixed"" several times by another shop. My friend told me about the Subaru Guru- His guy, Ross added a wire of some sort and the problem hasn't returned--The Guru is now my mechanic of choice. more

PROS TAKING CARE OF YOUR CAR 8/5/2011

I have been driving Subaru's for 25+ years and rely on Mark Bryant and his crew completely. They insist on using only the best parts, not low cost knock offs. These may cost more upfront, but save you money in the long run--they last. (i.e. you don't have to replace the part every six months.) They also give you timely info on what needs to be done soon or immediately and what can be put off for the time being. It's nice to know you have a group of pros taking care of your vehicle. more

MECHANICS YOU CAN TRUST---THESE GUYS ARE THE BEST!! 4/21/2011

What a breath of fresh air...I finally found expert mechanics that I can trust! They are professional and reliable and frugal. Not only did they do what i needed to have done, they went above and beyond to check out my car to make sure in good running shape for some time to come. The best part....when it got down to determining what I really needed done, they were half the cost of the ""other guys"". Very reasonable!!! I shopped around and considered the dealer...but they don't need my business and they make that attitude clear every time I've had to use them! Now I don't need to use them...and I won't ever again! I'm a happy camper! ""Hoss"" and Mark are guys you want to know, if you own a car! more

the guru took care of me 4/14/2010

My Subaru needed a new fuel injector, I had taken it to a place up north who didn't even look at the units installed in my motor and ordered me the wrong one which cost me time and money to figure out, then they wouldn't take it back! Mark told me to come down to his shop where an entire pulled intake assembly was waiting for me, no questions asked, for a song! (well not actually a song, but you get the picture). Great service, I expect when I need a mechanic to work on this car I will make the extra trip down to Kent and leave it to the subaru guru and co. Only Buy Subarus beacuse of Mark & Brian. 2/9/2009

I have been a customer of Mark and Brian's for over 18 yrs. During this time I have not bought or leased a car other than a Subaru, mainly because when you find a good mechanic, it's like finding a good Dr. you hold on to them. Mark must have been a teacher in a previous life. He takes the time to explain what is going on with your vehicle and why. The wealth of knowledge he carries in his head continually amazes me. Another thing I like is your car doesn't disappear behind a curtain, you can not only talk to Mark, but to the mechanic who is actually doing the work. Fair, Dependable, Honest, and Fast 2/9/2009

I have dealt with many subaru guys in the past, and none have been as honest and forthright as Mark Bryant and his team at East Valley Auto. He lets me know what needs fixed now, and what can wait. More than fair service and dependability. 2/9/2009

I don't understand what subbiebabe is talking about. Mark (the owner) is one of the most honest guys i know, he sold me a car for basically the price of the engine for my mother in law, not only that, when i had my car there to be worked on, they gave me a ride to my work place, and picked me up. I probably would've been fired if it wasn't for their service. Also, he's saved me plenty of money, i've talked to other car shops, like auto zone, they asked twice of what mark charged me for a decent brake job. Really, i want to know how someone who obviously cares more about people than he does money could do such a dishonest, slimy thing as turn back an odometer. dependable, fast service, good price 2/3/2009

I bought my Subaru Outback about two years ago from East Valley Auto and since then I am yet to find a repair shop/dealer that offers faster service, lower repair costs, and dependability. I live in Seattle, but am willing to go to Kent to have my car serviced because I know that I will be taken care of. The car has been reliable without any major problems, and I would definetly buy another one from them. The Suburu Guru lives up to his name. Keep up the good work fellas! Odometer Fraud 10/28/2008

I was about to purchase a car at this place until I watched the owner mess with an Odometer in his office and then he tried to convince me that it was real mileage. I ordered a Car Fax and found the truth, and when I called back to ask why he was doing this, he openly admitted to it and then explained that since I bought another car I was not his customer anyway so he hung up on me! Mark Bryant and his staff are polite, friendly, and professional. I feel like I can trust them. Mark is known as ""The Subaru Guru"" but they definitely know what they're doing with all makes of vehicles. After living in Seattle for about 5 years, I'm glad I've finally found an auto repair shop that I can trust! more
