Good Service 6/30/2009

John is a very honest mechanic. I've gone to him a couple of times to work on my pick up truck ('91 Full Size Chevy Pick up). He has always been able to diagnos the problems correctly with my pick up. He has never done any additional work that may be found or required while fixing problems, after his initial diagnosis and original estimate, without consulting me first on the additional costs and wheher or not I wanted to go through with the job. I've gotten estimates to compare his work cost wise to Pep Boys and Big O tires. Sometimes he's a little higher, but his honesty is worth it. Pros: Honest Mechanic more

I have taken my cars there several times over the last few years. They have always provided reliable timely service and stayed to the estimate. The owner John is honest and realistic he has repaired components rather than just replace them in my older car understanding that I will be replacing it soon. Pros: Honest shop more

This is a Great Mechanic Shop 11/21/2007

I was new to Sac and took my RAV in for some work. I was clearly told the problem & it was fixed the first time for a reasonable amount. I have since taken my Honda Accord to them with the same great results. I would recommend these folks to anyone. more

Great service 1/26/2007

This is a great shop. I had a problem with my headlights that 2 other shops miss-diagnosed. Brought the car to these guys, they found the actual problem, fixed it in a day and it only ended up costing around $100. Plus they were very friendly. I'm exstatic about their service and will bring my car back in the future. Highly recommend. Pros: Service, Expertise, Cost, Nice neighborhood. Cons: Lot is very small and a little hard to get into. Also, they could use a remodel in the office. more

great place to bring car in need of repair 4/27/2006

i'm new to sacramento, and just acquired a ""new"" (old) car. My car was needing work, so i was searching around for a ""good mechanic"" when i was referred to east sacto. The technicians were very friendly and fair. unfortunately but inevitably, my car needs more repair, so i will be brining it back to east sacto. more

Great place to take your sick car to. 4/5/2006

They were great, very friendly and nice. Not a place that's going to try to get you to get a bunch of things you don't need. Easy to talk to and are more than happy to answer any questions you have (I have a lot, since I don't know much about cars). Everyone should give them a call when getting quotes on fixing your car. It's not the prettiest place, but mechanic's are not supposed to be interior desginers... they know what they are doing there. Pros: Inexpensive, Friendly, Fast more

Great 11/3/2005

I went once for something minor and then returned weeks later for something else. The owner not only remembered my name but also remembered the trouble I had had with my car. The service was friendly, professional, speedy, and reasonably priced. I highly recommend their services to others. more

Your more than just a customer. 5/29/2003

These people are really good! They listen and take time to explain what needs to be done, and on a level anyone could understand. They have many years experience between them. For such a small place the type of quality they produce would rival the big national chain repair places. Dave Lalich is the Mgr, James is the Asst Mgr. I have vintage VW's and they do restorations as well. A true quality buisness, locally owned and operated. Makes you feel that your more than just a customer. Pros: Friendly, Extreamly honest, Customer is #1 Cons: N/A, N/A, N/A more
