Be cautious and ask questions!!!! My dog was seeing Dr. Roden for several years, and I thought he was good. He always seemed to solve the problem but it only solved it for 3-6 months. He would either change his food, or change the medication. If only I had really asked the right questions (but I was paying for his expertise)!! Coco continued with diarrea and vomitting, and we always continued with more medicine. I kept him there and I'm sorry for it, I should have known to ask more or get another opinion, and I didn't. I finally took him somewhere else, but by that time it was too late and we found out he had liver failure, after only 6 years. Dr. Roden will save you money but he doesn't really take care to find out the answer. My best friend, Coco is dead and maybe if East Orange AH had taken the time to really treat him he would be here. He may have died anyway, who knows, but I never got the chance to find out. After leaving Dr. Roden and East Orange AH I took him to the Specialist's in Maitland, where I spent over $3,000. to find out he had liver failure.\r

Honestly I would never recommend this vet or office! After Coco died I went to East Orange AH, and told them he died and what I thought.....not one person cared. No compassion from anyone.\r

We all make choices, I made a bad one. I think that Dr. Roden could have and should have done more. He should have seen the signs of liver failure, after all he was the experience vet. I don't know a doctor that doesn't know the signs of liver failure, do you???\r
