East Harbour Motel & Cottages

North Truro and Provincetown have been a second home since I was just teething. East Harbor is a wonderful hotel and cottage facility I found years ago and have come back to time and again. The cottages are pristine and the service wonderful. the bayside beach is heaven. the proprietor is as warm and full of humor as you could ask for ; at least she laughed at my jokes...that's all I can ask for. more

In the old days, we used to go to B&Bs when we vacationed in New England. The rooms were always beautiful and the breakfasts a daily adventure. And then, one day, we did the math. We never spent much time in the room - always up at 6 AM and on the road by 7. This made the B&B premium less attractive. Enter East Harbor Motel & Cottages. Here is a place on the beach with safe, off street parking, clean rooms and private baths and is on the bus route that takes you into Provincetown - perfect. We have been coming here for over a decade and have never been disappointed. The owner is a wonderful lady and she is a good sport too. (I took her for a thrill ride in my loaner BMW Z4 and she laughed through the tightest curves.) This is a fun place for people who don't need luxury rooms - just a clean and comfortable place to sleep and wash up. more
