Great spot for parties 8/20/2005

We rented the upper pavilion at the Town Park for a graduation party this year. The price is extremely reasonable, and we had our own bathrooms, huge grill, covered area with picnic tables, deck area with picnic tables and umbrellas, a refrigerator, sink and power. There's lots of room for everyone to run, a baseball area, a playground, etc. There's a lower pavilion that is smaller and cheaper to rent, but it is still very nice. The only thing that would make it better is having a pool there instead of the yucky lake. more

Town Park is Okay 8/10/2005

I've never used the pond they have for swimming - but it looks cute but a bit "rustic". The playground areas are just okay. The equipment is old and in disrepair - and there isn't much of it. Although I've never rented the pavillions they look like a good space for a picnic or event. There is also lots of open space for games and running around. more

The Town Park Camp is great, park rental too! 7/18/2005

The Town Park Camp for East Greenbush is an AMAZING value for 3 weeks of camp- $95. The kids have so much fun and are always busy going non stop! They take day trips like to bowling, golf, library, roller skating, ice cream and more! All included for the price. The only downfall is the lake is getting pretty gross and it is dirty. I wish there were a way to keep it cleaner. Otherwise it is nice- if it is hot it is tough for the kids. You can also rent out the pavillions at the park for personal use. I have rented it 2x this year and it is great to rent. The upper one has bathrooms, a grill, refrigerator, tables and more! It is lovely and covered in case of rain! more
