When I walked into East Cobb Lawnmower to pick up my mower, one of the employees got off the phone and yelled, ""I'd like to shoot the f***ing b****."" If that's how they treat other customers behind their backs, I knew I was in trouble. I was. I brought my mower in because it wouldn't start. They said they'd take a look and have it fixed in two days. Four days later, they called and said it was ready. After bringing it home, it wouldn't start. They had replaced the crank shaft and never tried to start it to make sure it worked. When I called to complain, they said I told them to fix the crank shaft and they did as I said. I didn't tell them that because I don't know what the crank shaft is or why my mower wouldn't work. They wrote down the instructions after looking at the mower. The guy on the phone refused to take responsibility and continued to tell me it was my fault. He admitted he never tried to start it -- because I didn't tell him to on the work order. When I said, ""so you don't go the extra mile for your customer?"" he said, ""No, I just do what's written on the order."" I couldn't believe someone would admit to providing such terrible customer service and being proud of it. I told him they just lost a customer. He said, ""good!"" They really have lost this customer. I'll never go back -- and I'll tell others to stay away!
