I went there on a Friday afternoon at 4:15pm and the door was locked. I assumed they were closed so I started back to my car. An older woman opened the door and asked (in a slightly annoyed tone) ""Can I HELP you?"". I immediately felt like I was intruding. I asked her what their hours were and she said 9 - 5. I told her I was interested in getting a quote on my wedding flowers. I can't be sure since I was about 30 feet away, but I swear she rolled her eyes. I offered to come back another time but she told me to just come in. Once inside she didn't introduce herself, ask my name, smile, look at me or act in the least bit pleasant. I told her what I wanted (which was VERY little) and she didn't want to give me a quote, she said she didn't know, she'd have to go look it up, but made no offer to do so. I was there for a quote an couldn't get one. I finally insisted on a quote and she said ""Fine, it's gonna be around $1500"". I was SHOCKED! I expressed my shock, and in a very snappy tone she told me it was the labor to put everything together. I left and went home to look up other florists. I spoke with 4 others the following week and gave them all the same info I gave this woman...not a single quote came back over $400. The florist I wound up choosing is actually giving me more stuff than East Brainerd Florist and the final cost, including tax and delivery, is $385. I really think I interupted her attempting to close early so she was rude and gave me an obscene quote in order to chase me off. I've never been treated so poorly by any business before in my life. I would definitely recommend folks looking into other florists and avoiding East Brainerd Florist. Their customer service is attrocious.
Pros: I didn't find any
Cons: Incredibly rude and overpriced
