Loving Pet Owners Beware!!! 8/25/2010

tHERE IS NO STAR LOW ENOUGH TO RATE THIS PLACE!!! I saw a female vetinarian when I went here. Never ever again!!!My first hint that I should have walked out was when a male customer was trying to pay his bill and they would not work out any terms with him. He was pleading with them and I came close to offering to pay the bill myself. He seemed like a decent caring pet owner of a large dog. All of this happened In the public waiting area the man ended up calling family to borrow money, I felt bad and embarrassed for him. There was no comprimise with this office. He had a $100 on him in cash and they refused to help. Maybe they hadn't heard that financial times are tough in this area? I had heard the prices were reasonable but they charged me even more then my former vet who practiced in gorgeous building with all the bells and whistles with numerous employees. What kind of a caring place was this? NOT!!! A month later I was out of town and my dog was being watched by a neighbor more

awful expensive awful treatment 2/18/2010

I took my dog there a year ago to be nuetered they gave me some medicine and sent us home two days later my dog had heavy blood in his stool. I took him back without even testing him they told me it was worms gave me more medicine and yet another hefty vet bill over $100 and sent me home. At this point the dog began uncontrollably vomiting stopped eating and drinking. I took my dog to my friends vet where my dog was clearly more welcome. It was there that I discovered that the original medication he was given number one side effect is death and is a common reaction in a lot of dogs and not once did they inform me of this. needless to say after the visit to the vet some other medication an x-ray and a much much less expensive vet bill under fifty dollars my dog snapped right back more

Great Vet 12/29/2009

This past saturday, I had an emergency and my regular vet was closed. The only vet clinic open that day was Eascor and all I have to say is that from now on it will be my vet for everything. The staff was amazing and courteous, and the doctor was very thorough and knowledgeable. I felt very comfortable and welcomed at Eascor. I would recommend this place to everyone! Pros: Wonderful staff and doctors more

BAD ATTITUDE 6/19/2009

Early in May of this year I brought my dog in for his heartworm check and prevention. The doctor kept me waiting nearly 40 minutes before he even looked at my dog (who has been a patient since 2005), after the heartworm check came back clean he looked VERY briefly at my dog's teeth and said "OH they are a MESS!" I already knew they needed cleaning and a few would need to be pulled. He promptly and rudely told me that EVERY tooth should be extracted from the dog because they were all decayed. Mind you, he NEVER even bothered to fully examine the teeth. He acted as though he were in a hurry and had no time for me and never allowed me to even ask any questions. I WILL NEVER BE BACK TO THIS VET. He talked down to me and made me feel as though I had neglected my pet which is NOT the case. I consulted another vet, and he told me to pull all the teeth on a 4 year old dog was not only unnessary but irresponsible. My new vet cleaned my dogs teeth and extracted 4 teeth, which was a whole lot less than all of them. Nice try EASCOR, but you didnt scare OR intimidate me. Good luck, your gonna need it. Heres a little free advice to the owner: get a personality, and it MIGHT, just MIGHT help! more

GREAT animal hospital, Recommend to anyone 5/25/2009

I have recently switched vets, and a neighbor of mine takes her animals to Eascor, so i thought i would give them a try. This animal hospital by far has been the best place i have ever taken my pets. The staff was very kind and intelligent, they knew what they were doing. The doctor was far more thorough then any other vets i have come across. Dr Singh examined Katie, made me aware of all the preventatives that were available, but only recommended a couple that he thought were important since we go up north etc. The prices were very reasonable, and the service was definitely far more superior then the other vets around the area. From now on, my animals will only go to Eascor Animal Hospital Pros: long hours (open late and sat), great prices, awsome service Cons: Overall great experience more

Eascor not good 12/26/2008

The owner is a capital a**hole. He doesn't respect women and he talks down to you as if you can't understand what he is saying. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone!!!!! more

IHorrible vet! t's all about the money..not the pets! 8/25/2008

Horrible! Ever since the new owners bought it, it has been all about the money! They quote you one price then surprise you with a bill for a thousand dollars more.. Big Greed. Charged me more than a full week at the emergency vet and the pet still died!! At least at the emergency vet you get 24 hour care for your money! Not here! Ok for shots and worms, but anything more complex and you'd better take out a second mortgage! Pros: Called me often with progress reports. Cons: Was going to send dog home before he reached peak sickness! Charged me three times more than quoted. More expensive than emergency vet 24 hour care! more
