Following a very bad experience with another geothermal contractor, and much subsequent and anxiety-filled research into ways to get out of the mess I was in, EarthMint came to my rescue and installed a geothermal system with which I am extremely pleased. The prior contractor had used equipment which did not meet the specifications for geothermal incentive rebates and ultimately bailed out leaving the installation less than 50 complete, but 85 paid for. I had to have someone else correct and complete the job. EarthMint proved to be a Godsend. Unlike the first contractor, they took detailed measurements to complete an airflow analysis which was necessary to properly select the appropriate equipment. At all times they were extremely professional, friendly and courteous, fully answering any questions I had. Moreover, they came when they said they would and completed all phases of the job on schedule in a very neat and clean fashion. All of this, along with the workmanship and end product (the air-conditioning is functioning beautifully!), totally dispelled the concerns and "bad taste" I had as a result of my previous experience. I would highly recommend this firm to my best friend if he/she were thinking of installing a geothermal system. In short, I would endorse EarthMint without reservation as to professionalism, competitiveness, workmanship and integrity. I can't say enough good things about it. more

He took his time teaching us all about it and his financial analysis was great and easy to understand. It was an easy decision for us to make to go with Nat. Earthmint did a high quality job on my Geo-thermal heating and cooling sustem. We are very happy with the system so far. Time will tell if the investment made will payback as advertised versus a conventional heating & cooling system. Some hidden factors such as not hitting ledge within the first 20 feet added to the already high cost of the system. Also lawn replacement was not considered until extent of damage was realized. more

Nat has delivered 100% on everything he promised. He took care of all logistics, permitting, etc., including restoring the excavation site. Our geothermal system is quiet, efficient, and maintenance free (OK, I have to change filters every 6 months). Whereas I used to have oil bills in the $700/month range in winter I used less than 50 gallons - all for hot water - from Dec 30 (installation) until September. I can't wait to see the savings for a full year! more

When I was looking for someone to do geothermal heating, I searched the Internet for people within a 100-mile radius of here and looked into 7 different companies. I decided to use EarthMint because Nat was extremely knowledgeable and really seemed to know what he was talking about. Everything turned out beautifully. Nat was wonderful throughout the process. He was very responsive and extra helpful when others did not know what we were doing and were being obstructive. No one in our area had ever done this before, so we had a challenging time getting the permits for the job. Nat made extra trips to meet with people from the engineering, water, and health departments. He was very organized and had all of the information in a book that he presented to explain the work. Without his efforts, the project never would have happened. It has been about a year since the system was installed and the quality is terrific. Everything turned out better than we expected. Of all of the contractors that we have worked with over the years, Nat was excellent, no problem at all. When issues arose, he solved them. He worked with people who were not his subs to make sure that everything turned out well. It is a rare thing to have an experience like the one we had with EarthMint. We installed an Earthmint Geothermal heating and air conditioning system. We needed three wells. The installation was a big effort in our antique house but has been worth the time and disruption necessarily caused by the installation. A few minor problems along the way have been remedied swiftly and competently. more

I decided to use EarthMint because Nat was very down-to-earth and explained everything to me. He answered fully any follow-up questions that I had and made me feel very confident that the job would be done well, which it was. I did not even have central air, so EarthMint had to put in all of the duct work and drill holes in the ground. There was limited space for them to go in, so landscapers had to come out to remove shrubs and they had to drive in a gutter downspout. I was impressed with how EarthMint handled everything from A to Z very professionally. The plans had looked good but, when you get into the actual implementation, you are always going to run into a glitch here and there. I appreciated the way that EarthMint worked through any glitches that came up. Everything turned out very well. more
