if it's good enough for the Jewish mafia, it's good enough for me 12/17/2005

Why is every beach store in Myrtle Beach named after bad 70’s bands? Eagles, Wings….I expect a “Foghat Surf Shop” to open any day. There is an Eagles on every corner, and a Wings on every opposite corners. I think they’re owned by the same family. All of the “cheap priced” items you see advertised outside are always magically out of stock. ALWAYS. The 10 for $10 t-shirts (If they are there) are seriously baby-sized t-shirts, not anything a real-life person could actually wear. Of course, any clothing you buy at wings/Eagles is designed to self destruct the minute you pass Myrtle Beach city limits. What ever you do, don’t put these shirts in the dryer. Don’t even MENTION the word “Dryer’ around the clothing because it shrinks at the mere mention of the word. Don’t even THNK about it. Seriously. Everything is overpriced. You can get a cheaper bathing suit at Target. Even the non-clothing souvenirs are expensive. And the people who work behind the counter always look at you from the corner of your eyes and get really nervous if you spend more than 7 seconds looking at any one item. I guess there’s a large demand for shoplifted whoopee-cushions or something. Must be a black market thing. Don’t go here. Really. Go to the Gay Dolphin. At least you won’t be going in under the impression that you really CAN get 2349 t-shirts for $1…. more
