After discussing with the doctor that I preferred not to treat my 4-month puppy with medications for a light skin rash, he proceeded to give him a ""steroid"" shot to help the itching, then prescribed steroid pills, and gave me a steroid topical spray to use on him that had never been tested on dogs under 1 year of age. The spray bottle also mentioned not to spray on pregnant mothers because of stillborn possibilities and to always wear gloves when spraying on dog! What kind of boison (rhymes with...) did he prescribe! Plus, after online researching, you don't give steroid medications to puppies! Got my money back the following day. So I warn others to find a doctor who will LISTEN to your concerns and not just boison your dog and pillage you of money.... By the way, I changed my dogs brand of food and the rash went away. But did he mention that? Nope...
Pros: Made me more aware of where I take my dog for care.
Cons: Doctor that doesn't listen, money wasted, symptoms left untreated.
