Yummy! 12/20/2010

The Grape has some of these best food. The service can be a hit or miss and the prices can be a little high sometimes (on the wine that is). All and all though I love going to this place! more

Loved It - Will Always Go Back 6/8/2010

I went with my friend Janie. We both had the Hanger Steak Salad with the most delicious dressing. The portion was more than I could eat. The food was very fresh and the steak was cooked just the way I ordered it.\r \r The cheesecake with berries was like being in heaven. I love cheesecake and this was the best I ever had. Pros: The food, service, very friendly, comfortable, very clean Cons: There are no drawback more

Overpriced wine, good ambience 6/6/2010

This place is good if you're going on the company dime or on a first date and are trying to impress. The menu is extensive, but they run out of bottles quickly. The prices are inflated, you'd be better off to buy an entire bottle of whatever they're offering at the price of one glass. Pros: Good wine menu Cons: Expensive more

Great place for a glass of wine, a tasty snack and to meet friends 11/4/2008

Fabulous is the perfect word to describe the Grape at Atlantic Station! Great wine selection from all different parts of the world. Various red and white wine choices and at all different price ranges. There is something for everyone. The staff was wonderful in offering suggestions for wine and food selections...The staff was professional, friendly and helpful. They took the time to ask what type of wine I liked (do you like dry wines? or do you like sweeter wines?) and then made some suggestions. The menu was very easy to read. Great service too! Drinks and food were brought to our table in a timely manner. It is the perfect place to meet friends after a long day of work. The Grape is always in my top 3 places for a Happy Hour. more

great place for wine snobs and begginers alike 10/8/2008

I am really surprised with the overly-harsh negative reviews below, my husband and I really enjoyed the atmosphere, the food, and the staff. The bar tenders are very knowledgeable\r \r Ive never given a review here before but I felt the negative reviews did not do this place justice and wanted to offer my opinion as well. Pros: crowded and trendy nightlife, jazz on weekends Cons: not a place to bring children (it's a bar duh!) more

Nothing special 6/28/2008

Stopped by for lunch before we caught a matinee. I have to say I loved the way they have their menu was displayed with wine pairings, it would be nice if the restaurant had the wine offered in the menu!. They had ran out of 5 out 7 wines that I had asked about. It is a wine bar, you would expect them to be ready. The food was just ok, my dish, looked interesting enough but when I tried it it left me very disappointed. Don' t come here for the food. People seemed to be having fun tasting wines though. Our server was very nice.\r Chairs stained YUCK!...floor dirty. Pros: Nice waiters, long wine list Cons: not all wines avail. food mediocre. Place looks dirty. more

CAUTION / BAD REVIEWER's NOTEs******** 10/15/2007

CAUTION / REVIEWER NOTE******** I am not always on these reviews, so I was clicking around and clicked on atlcuisineguys name/link.\r Seems that he doesn't like ANY restaurant in Atlanta. he has given EVERY one a bad review. (except for ONE _ hmmm....seems like he has a lot of time on his hands and probably owns that one restaurant he didn't give negative reports on ) Something to note when seeing his bad review. Seems like his tongue got burnt in a fire. The only ones he like is Gladys Night's Chicken Waffles & The Varsity********\r \r Pros: ask to try the wine first, they let you! Great tasting wine, helpul servers, friendly & delicious food! more

Great place for good food, clean environment and classy atmosphere. 8/18/2007

Wow, it's funny when I read reviews from others sometimes and it amazes me what people say. My comments about The Grape are wonderful. I had a lovely experience! It is a noisy place at times, but when you talk to people, then noise occurs. Yes, a little crowded, but who wants to go into a place where nobody is? So much for unpopular huh...and maybe the UNPOPULAR should stay at home if they don't want to be around others. ""Cookie Cutter"" food....hardly! Everything I had was tasty and was served in a very classy manner; even the trainee had class and was very mannerable. Perhaps if all you have been used to eating is MCDONALD'S, you couldn't possibly appreciate the classy cuisine. Try the lamb next time ""honey"". \r \r Well, enough of that, just had to set the record straight because I can't stand it when people who are UNCULTURED AND UNEXPOSED try to DOWN something that is progressing well...oh and if you go on a Friday, you will hear some smooth Jazz. Maybe the next time you all go somewhere else prior to going somewhere with class (such as The Grape); you should just settle for a six pack and some chicken wings....more your speed and style...ya know?\r \r Oh, I'm Kim by the way! Pros: Nice tapas, extra clean, even the bathrooms. Good music and I love the patio. Service was great too. Cons: A little tight but then I like intimacy. more

McDonald's Of Wine Bars! 7/7/2007

After a great night of dining at Geisha House, my girlfriend and myself decided to stop in The Grape for a nightcap! The combo was so loud, we could not hear each other, so much for romance. But really what made the place so comical, was the McDonald's like service, menu, and cookie-cutter design. And the prices were rather high, for wines we have never heard of. Our poor waiter, kept looking at his watch, but it was just a few minutes after 11:00pm. He wanted to go as bad as we did. We went back across the 17th.St. Bridge, to a real wine bar! Yuk! Pros: Atlantic Station? Cons: Atlantic Station? more

This Wine Bar Has Lost It's Bubbly! Patrons Are Questionable! 6/9/2007

A couple of years back, we loved it when The Grape came to Atlantic Station. These days, there is one on every corner. And the initial patrons have moved elsewhere. Now it's unsavory music, and questionalble patrons, who just sit for hours, and make the locals feel uncomfortable. Maybe the new management is the problem. But this wine bar has lost it's bubbly! Pros: Atlantic Station! Cons: Once Vibrant Winebar, Has Gone Down! more

Grand selection of wine and upscale finger foods!!!! 9/24/2006

Imagine my shock at the review given by taichanel when I am in this location at least once weekly and have never witnessed the transparent problems expressed by the reviewer! The watrons are wine literate, friendly and anxious to make your dining experience one of immense pleasure. The bartenders are always funny and more than once have suggested other fine dining experiences for my crowd. The General Manager, Mike May, is one of the classiest and most accommodating people we have ever met. I have travelled worldwide and have found many cozy and unique dining places. While The Grape Atlantic Station isn't Paris, it certainly is a very fine establishment! I advise all to visit this location, and ask to meet Mike. I 've seen Usher dining here, and I know he can afford to dine anywhere! So if he visits, it must be the place! Oh, and save room for one of the ""killer"" desserts!\r Pros: Wine selection, atmosphere and food! Cons: Parking can get crazy more

If you enjoy wine and would like to try something new you will be in heavean at ""The Grape"" in Atlantic Station. Very resonalby priced. Pros: Great Location, Knowledgabel servers, Wine Tastings Cons: Very busy on the week more
