You did fine on the oil change. But, you charged more for the work than quoted on the phone, with no extra item to account for the difference. You quoted $24.95 for the complete job on the phone, but nowhere in the bill was that amount reflected, even taking out the hazmat charge (which should be included in the quoted price) and tax. W/out tax you charged 27.95, not 24.95. I let it go, but it's irritating. more

I believe in the old school work ethics and pride in service that should exist in any industry and i get that vibe in this shop. Being able to say "my mechanic" comes with alot of trust. I truly feel that trust here. Thank you guys!! more

After spending hours, literally, someplace else, waiting for an oil change, a competitor said they couldn't do it and there was an oil leak. So we went to Duxbury Motor Works, where they changed the oil, right off the bat, diagnosed that there was no oil leak, and informed us of a safety issue that needs fixing. We feel safe and secure with Duxbury Motor Works. Always there in a pinch. more

Family; Customer Service; Honesty; Satisfaction 3/12/2014

I have been driving for many years and have had many vehicles. I chose to bring my vehicle to Duxbury Motorworks because of multiple recommendations. I could not have been more satisfied. Chris took his time and explained what the problems were with my vehicle and didn't push to do extra work. He, actually, mentioned things that would be needed down the road, but it was nothing to worry about at that time. It s a family business in every sense of the word. I have never been so pleased with a repair shop. I will never take my vehicles anywhere else. Thank you to Chris and his staff for being the honest, caring people that they are. more

Warning lights on 3/5/2014

Car suddenly had several dash lights light up. A call to Duxbury Motorworks and they said to come right in. Diagnosed and fixed coil pack problem in 1hr. Comfortable waiting area and friendly staff! more
