Dutch and Olgas Greenhouses

I had a terrible experience with a man who seemed in charge. I asked a couple of questions and he was so rude I decided to take my business elsewhere.Wish there was an option for no stars. more

I recently received a $50 gift certificate to Dutch & Olga's greenhouse. I went there Saturday, 5/12/07 and it was very busy. I found 4 plants costing $10 and decided I'd wait until another day when it wasn't so crowded to choose the rest. The line was really long so the owner who was in the gift shop said to bring purchases over there "no waiting". I did and when I took out the $50 gift certificate he said He couldn't take it unless I purchased $50 or went to the other "long" line to get "change" in the form of another gift certificate. He was the owner so I don't know why he couldn't deduct the $10 from the $50 and sign his name on the certificate showing the balance. Gift cards automatically give you a balance but this was an old fashioned written certificate. I left not spending anything. more

Going to Dutch & Olga's Greenhouses reminds me of visiting my great grandmother when I was younger. The greenhouse is filled with flowering aromatic plants and flowers. The colors are just beautiful to look at, and I love walking around smelling the flowers. My sons love to run around and shout out the names of the colors. The prices are so good. The flowers and plants are very fresh also, you can see they are quality items. If you need something for your hanging basket, patio pot, or display garden, this is the place for you! more
