Installed a 200 amp panel upgrade on the outside of the house and a 100 amp sub panel in the basement. They completed the work over 2 days and the inspection was a week later. The inspector said the work was better then most he has seen. Good work, I'm happy with the results. more

I needed a new panel installed along with a 60Amp 220 connection to the Jacuzzi Hot Tub (including a trench and running the power line through the ceiling), and Dutch Creek Electric performed the operation flawlessly. We had an exhaust fan and electrical outlets installed in the bathroom, a new electrical box put in under the kitchen sink, and a better reinstall of track lighting dealing with old wiring (old house). Mike and his assistant were courteous, efficient, and they definitely knew what they were doing. We were very pleased with work done and are glad we now know who to go to for any future electrical work. Dutch Creek's pricing came in appreciably lower than another company's bid. more

I called Dutch Creek Electric initially because I needed another quote on a job and they offer free estimates. Not only did they give me an estimate over the phone, it turned out to be the exact price of the job. I had them replace my entire electrical panel which is a pretty major undertaking. Their price on the job was literally half of what one of the big companies in town wanted to charge me. Since my issue was an emergency, they rearranged their scheduling for the week to fit me in the very next day (and it took the whole day to complete.) They showed up on time, were extremely professional and courteous, and it was very obvious that they knew what they were doing. I will absolutely use this company again and I will highly recommend them to anyone that needs electrical work done. These guys are doing it right. Had three bathrooms without power to the outlets, one of the bathrooms had no power to the lights or air vent. Tried resetting the outlet switch and also checked my breaker circuit (which showed nothing tripped). Since I'm not an expert in home electric circuitry and this is something I probably shouldn't experiment with, I called Dutch Creek Electric and they were able to come out right away even though I didn't think this was an emergency. When the electrician arrived he was very professional and courteous, well groomed and clean. He listened to my problem and then went over a very clear to understand estimate of work. Basically a level 1,2, or 3 level of diagnostics and repair along with their prices. The electrician said he had seen this type of problem before and was almost certain the issue fell in the level 1 category (the cheapest). He did clearly state to me that there is a possibility that the damage could be greater and then the work would go up to the other levels (and prices). The electrician went to work and found that the GFI on one of the outlets was bad and also found that the breaker did trip even though the switch stayed in the on position (odd?). He toggled the breaker to reset it. He also replaced the bad outlet which was included in the cost of the Level 1 repair. I was very pleased with the work performed and was expecting it to cost me alot more. I also think the total time he was at the house was about 30 mins. My wife and I were also thinking on doing some upgrades to the lighting in those bathrooms so I asked the electrician if he could provide me with some estimates. He gave us some reasonable estimates and ideas. If we decide on doing the upgrades we will most probably choose Dutch Creek for the work. more

Mostly we worked with Mike. Mike and crew were always polite and friendly. Concerned to keep their work clean with minimum disruption. Usually on time and if running a little late,(due to snow)always called. They always put on shoe covers when coming into the house. Very respectful and listened carefully to our concerns and explained clearly what was needed. They researched what we needed and worked with us to give us the best needed service. They had the opportunity to over charge,doing extra, unnecessary work which we did not need but they didn't. We highly recommend them to everyone and plan to use them for our electrical needs in the future. more
