If they do not have what you need they will help you find it elsewhere, and when they have it they will explain how to fix or use whatever you just bought. A young man took the time to explain the various types of glues and epoxies to me so that I could make the right choice for repair of a piece of furniture I had been wrangling with for years! I am a member of the Durfee family. There is an unpleasant review on this site. It is old and I have asked that it be removed.but providence.citysearch has not replied to me. I will say just a couple of things. First, the ""dinosaur"" was probably my dad who is currently 87. Second, my dad was probably trying to explain that there were some licensing issues with the University of RI and our distributor that year. There must of been some misunderstanding regarding his comments. (FYI, you can't sell something called ""URI seed"" if URI has not recieved their license fee.) We are a family store that aims to please. If you ever have a problem with our store, please ask for Paul Durfee and we'll be happy to hear your complaints. I went there to by some URI grass seed, and the dinosaur behind the counter told me they were out of it, AND that they were the only ones that sold it in RI. After leaving, I went directly to Ann&Hope on Post Rd. and they had enough to cover a football field....crumb bums!! And every product they sell, including services they provide are more expensive than anywhere else. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!! Pros: close to home Cons: their prices are not cheaper than those at other stores more
