Best

I went there for a date and the place was just perfect for it: we were able to talk easily, the waitress was excellent, attentive but not in our faces, they altered my dish to my ...

Worst

Haven't been in for a while, it was ok. Honestly I don't see what the fuss is all about? My wife's gnocchi was burnt and under seasoned. I had the Mahi-Mahi, and boy it was bad! T...

DISAPPOINTED 6/3/2006

My second visit was a disappointing experience. My meal was, at best, mediocre. Bland and poorly cooked. I gave the place a third chance reluctantly after some persuasion by a friend but to my unfortunate surprise ... it was even worse. If you're looking for really good food, look elsewhere. Pros: Desserts Cons: Inconsistent, Noisy, Overrated more

Duo does it right! 12/5/2005

Having been to Duo on two occasions now, I can't wait until my third! From the moment you walk in, the warm, inviting atmosphere is apparent. There is a pleasant buzz from the conversations and the genuine smiles that greet you are great! The food is really delicious - having tried just about everything on the menu (not all by myself!) I would recommend everything! I really love the Mushroom Raviolis and the Pistachio dessert is really one of the best things I've ever had! The wine list is fantastic and there are many great options by the glass. Can't wait to try brunch and can't wait to bring my family to celebrate Christmas Eve there! Pros: Atmosphere, Food, Wine List more

Fantastic! 12/1/2005

Friendly, warm, relaxing, terrific food. The best pork chop I've ever had. Yet another fabulous addition for the foodies of Northwest Denver. more

Desserts are the best in town 11/20/2005

Desserts at this place are out of this world! We tried every single dessert and All of them were excellent, the best in the city. The Apple Tart is a piece of art, beautiful and delicious. I agree with the other reviewer that the frozen Pistachio dessert (I can't remember the name) was outstanding. Don't miss the Chocolate cake! We can't wait to go back for more. Cons: A little noisy more

seasonal menu, interesting variety of choices 11/5/2005

The food was terrific. Very nice, cozy atmoshere. You feel comfortable the moment you arrive and the service was stellar. The pistachio dessert was really yummy. We will definitely go back to try some of the other menu offerings, and will be looking forward to the change in seasons to see how the menu changes with them. Pros: close to us, food is exceptional, service Cons: no smoking area more
