I frequent Dunkin' Donuts location in Fairview Heights, IL before work for my morning coffee (and occasional donut) and once per week for 2 dozen donuts for my office. The girl who works the drive-thru window is always professional and is a true asset to that store. However, I had an experience this morning,Saturday, July 14th at 10:37am that made me sick to my stomach. I observed an older gentleman pouring my coffee, then using his filthy, soiled brown sweatshirt to clean the spilled coffee off the cup which I would have drank from. When I saw him doing this, I told him that he needed to use a towel instead of lifting up his sweatshirt to clean up the spilled coffee. The young lady working the drive-thru window did ask if I would like another coffee, however, I told her that I would just like my money back, which she refunded, and for her to dispose of the coffee. I'm not sure if this is a training issue with the gentleman or just pure laziness?Evidently, this is a sanitary issue that needs to be addressed with not only that gentleman, but also issued as reminder to the store.
