One of my good friends has taken his 13 yr old dog to this place since she was a puppy. If he said the vet was good and the prices terrific, I believed him. I have two small dogs ...

Worst

I have not been in this place in a long time. But have to agree with Quest, it is very unsanitary. Maybe that's why haven't been their in a long time. The smell will knock you out...

No problems 12/13/2011

I took my dog Sadie there for a urinary issue and a rabies shot. I had no problems with this office. Didn't wait long, staff was very friendly. Handeled my dog great! Wasn't the cleanest place, but really, they're DOGS! not people or princesses. Id rather get reasonable prices on dog care than pay for it to look "pretty" when I walk in the office. Great job Bradenton Small Animal Hospital! more

Recommended highly by a good friend 10/4/2010

One of my good friends has taken his 13 yr old dog to this place since she was a puppy. If he said the vet was good and the prices terrific, I believed him. I have two small dogs that have gotten great care. In fact both of them were spayed there and they bounced back within 48 hours. The ambiance is not glamorous but the staff is all about taking great care of pets. more

Needs Help 8/11/2010

I have not been in this place in a long time. But have to agree with Quest, it is very unsanitary. Maybe that's why haven't been their in a long time. The smell will knock you out when you walk in the door. more

No Glamour - All Love 8/18/2009

I was referred to this place by several friends when I wanted a second opinion on a thousand dollar surgical procedure for my dog. The doctors advised against the surgery and sent us on our way with vitamin supplements and rimadyl and I have a healthy, happy dog again. Shots and an annual examination are a fraction of the cost at other vets. And the love these doctors have for the animals is open and obvious. When we adopted a kitten a short time ago and needed to have him declawed, they performed the procedure for $75. All the other local vets quoted me $300 and up. Our kitty recovered fully in less than a week. Yes there are sometimes long waits. The place looks like a dump. The front desk staff is sometimes a little brusque. But it's well worth it for the peace of mind, the level of care and the affordable fees. more

To each their own 6/16/2009

Our Family has been taking our animals here for many , many, years & have never had any problems at all. They work with you on paying for the care so you can help your animal out instead of feeling like you have no other choice but to put them down because you can't afford the cost. This kindness has given us a few more years with our pets that we may not of had at some other vet. more

If you love your animal find some other dr. they are horribly unsanitary,rough ,crude,and plain mean to my sick dog the place should be shut down by the state.Dr. Butler is Dr.Mengele of the vet world . reusing needles. more

Saved my dogs life 2/6/2008

I would never go anywhere else, after doctor butler saved my dog from Parvo. He's been great to my family, even though a lot of the times we were unable to pay in full, he allowed us time and small payments. this man is a life saver more

I do not have anything good to say about this place. I used to work at petsmart and the vet there constantly had 'botched' surgery pets come to them that had been screwed up at this vet clinic. I tell people to steer clear of this place...they are the cheapest in town but at this place you get what you pay for. more
